money value
OverallIt is overtly designed for a smaller place and limited budget of home theater. Given it is not a premium soundbar, the sound coverage and sound quality are unexpectedly good.Dolby Atmos / DTS Virtual:X - it worksDolby Atmos sends the sound to listening position via the ceiling, plus the DTS Virtual:X that "alternate" an virtual surround sound without rear speakers, tested and they both work for our ears, although the given choices of connectivity doesn't make it easy for us (see below).AVA - it's clearThe built-in Centre Speaker and the exclusive AVA (Active Voice Amplifier) does make dialogues and even whisper in movies sound clear and sync well.Airplay / Tap-Sound - it's goodBeen tested Airplay, streaming music via Wi-fi and Bluetooth, proper functioning, and Tap-Sound works like magic as well.Voice feedback - it's disturbingTried Alexa, like another comment said, it's way too loud for a small living room, so we switch it off. Personally, I don't like voice input or hearing voice output from the device as feedback for mode conversions, fortunately we can use the APP to bypass the voice operation.HDMI CEC - it's not perfectHDMI CEC works well, somehow it contradicts other CEC that have been paired between our Shield TV and LG TV (a.k.a simplelink in LG), so we compromised to keep it running with the S61B's remote.Connectivity - it's a bit complicatedThere is a known issue we choose to accept before purchasing, a fact that S61B provides ONLY ONE HDMI port, not like other brands soundbar they have two HDMI ports you will have one for HDMI eARC and another one does HDMI with passthrough as Box >HDMI> Soundbar >HDMI> TV or Box >HDMI> TV >HDMI> Soundbar, We first tried Optical instead --- not good as it will disable Dolby Atmos (opti do not transmit Atmos metadata). We were worrying that Bluetooth may be incapable of maintaining zero delay synchronizing audio with video, at last it proves that we worried too much. Box >Bluetooth> Soundbar + Box >HDMI> TV works fine. We were told it can be resolved by replacing our LG TV with a Samsung TV, as the soundbar can connect with Samsung TV without further wiring. Regarding Samsung’s Q-Symphony technology, the soundbar would pair with an Q-series Samsung TV without further connection and provides an unique experience to hear playback from TV and soundbar simultaneously. Before that if we do not give up on the obessive desire to replace Bluetooth with HDMI, we still can try our luck on a splitter (like samsung's One Connection Box) --- in another word, it is an unresourceful complication caused by limited option, in which an extra HDMI port could easily resolve -- looks like a design on purpose to promote their ecosystem rather than cost saving.Expandability - it's fancyTo complete the experience S61B can be further connected (through cable and separated power plug) with subwoofer SWA-W510 and the rear speaker SWA-9200S (sold separately) to create a home theater system. In future we may want to consider these as to give further push toward home-theater experience, for now, we are overly easy to be satisfied, we probably choose to upgrade our TV first when it aged further. As a personal choice - it worth the moneyOur decision to buy this soundbar was triggered by the fact that we purchased an Nvidia Shield TV pro and upgraded the Lan cable and experienced stunning 4K video, we realized we wanted to spend a little more to appease our listening experience. Learned from friends of Hi-fi (high fidelity) enthusiasts that every further level of accurate sound reproduction of high end stereos and ranges, as to retain sample rate and bit depth that can be lost during digital to analog conversion process, they would demand deep pocket investment that cost more than luxury vehicles. Some people recognize themselves and find their soul in music, some found theirs in movie watching, I don't think S61B is made for fellows on the fanatical side of high fidelity pursuit. As an all-in-one choice for movie watching, S61B will not sound as good as a high fidelity audio set or any other music playback oriented soundbar, but as a low-price upgrade apart from TV audio, its quality of experience is amazing.

Good sound, suited for smaller spaces
I bought this to replace a decade old Samsung soundstand. Overall it has met my expectations. The sound is a little trebly, and the bass isn’t as strong as my old soundstand, but the sound is very clear. The dedicated center speaker is nice, and the dialog boost option works very well. It also gets much louder than the soundstand, so unless you’re using it in a massive space the volume shouldn’t be a problem.Setup was easy, it was up and running in no time. I have had the ARC drop out randomly once, but that was fixed by cycling the inputs. It’s something I’m keeping an eye on, but hasn’t been a persistent issue so far.I consider it a good upgrade to my old setup.

Small and easy to setup to my Samsung tv.
Loved the easy setup and connectivity to my phone and tv. Not a booming soundbar but has good clarity. Sometimes when the smart tv is turned on it isn’t working with it and sometimes it does. Not a big deal though.Good starter soundbar.

Clear, Clean and well balanced
Sound is well balanced across the frequency spectrum. Lows are tight and punchy for what this is. fills the entire room with sound. elegant design in white, comes with the wall mounting hardware, and works great with a Samsung TV running Dolby ATMOS. It's a keeper.

SAMSUNG HW-S50B/ZA 3.0ch All-in-One Soundbar
Update: I've tried all the Youtube methods to recover the ARC HDMI connection. I did get it working today after resetting all the HDMI ports, but turning the TV off for an hour or so and then back on and the ARC HDMI was once again missing. I give up. Is it the TV? Is it the sound bar? Going with the optical connection from here on out.It was easy to set up and the sound quality was excellent. But, after a few hours of use, the sound went off in the middle of a show. Checking the sources, the HDMI eArc was just gone and the TV reverted to the TV speakers. I disconnected/reconnected the HDMI, and power, checked that the port was working with another device. In trying to repair the sound bar to the TV, I did get the indication that it was available as a source, but it still produced no sound. Contacted Samsung support and the technician walked me through the troubleshooting steps again, and did another reset. This time it was successful and the sound was restored. However, only minutes after that, the sound went off again. I then paired it with Bluetooth and that has been working well. I am sending this unit back and replacing it with the same item. Hopefully, the HDMI eArc will not fail on this one. I also ordered an optical cable, just in case.

Incredible and compact Dolby Atmos/DTS experience
I didn't realize what we were missing until we bought this all in one 5.0 soundbar (hooked up to an LG 75" TV). But then the groundbreaking moment was after adding the additional SWA-9200S side/rear speaker set, which legitimately add another dimension of sound. There is normal surround sound, which is great, but then when you add $75 open box SWA-9200S extra speakers (set their volume to maximum manually in the 'smart things' app) + set DTS Virtual X mode = a ENTIRE next level of a home theater experience. My wife and I intentionally pick out horror and action films with intense DTS/Atmos audio, since sometimes we can literally hear noises/creaks/atmosphere behind, above or in specific areas of the room that wasn't as obvious before adding the additional side speakers to this soundbar. I don't even think Samsung advertises enough how good they are for being incredibly compact! I swear that sometimes it makes voices or effects that feel like they are up at the ceiling or whooshing across us (behind or in front). The best way I can describe it is its surround sound within surround sound (fooling your mind more intensely). We can't stop watching movies with this setup now. The soundbar alone is pretty good/impressive, but ADDING the optional side speakers brings the experience to an 11/10. Again, use the smart things app to easily change settings without needing the remote (much easier).

Great for bedroom!
I have this in my master bedroom and it works great with Samsung Q sync feature. It enhances the sound. The center Chanel helps with dialogue too.
