SamsungGalaxy A34 5G 6GB_128GB light green

I have a few Samsung phones over the years and they all had massive flaws- Samsung S9, Samsung M31, Samsung A52s...the list goes on and they all fell flat in a way. This one,given the price and the excellent timing and free case from the seller (thank you very much!), gets 5 stars.The phone is great for what it offers- at £190-195 you get full IP rating for water and dust resistance,a decent camera(s),great screen (big,bright and fast AMOLED at 120hZ, HDR 10+ is missing,Dolby Vision is missing,1 billion colours is missing,LTPO is also missing, BUT at this price point, no phone offers any of those! And besides, the vast majority of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference even if it had it but I digress...) Screen is 4.5 out of 5 stars. Period.Software is Android 14 (Samsung One UI 6.0) which surprised me a little bit given Google's shenanigans last year with missing all their targets and deadlines but anywho... Pleasant surprise. Kuddos to Samsung for that.It's got stereo speakers -not super loud but loud enough with good clarity and a little bit of bass.The battery life is superb. 5000 mAh battery coupled with the very efficient Mediatek Dimensity 1080 chipset and Samsung's software optimizations are a recipe for big success. In my case the phone goes all day long as I'm demanding and use it all the time. For many people its gonna be a two-day battery. The charge is slowish but it's a Samsung,so it's expected. Samsungs, iPhones and Google pixels are terrible when it comes to battery lifetime span and charging capabilities especially the latter two. Atrocious really.Cameras are overall good. Especially the main camera. Not flagship level by any means but flagship for the price with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).As for the rest,it's got everything needed except for a couple of things that most people don't care about:headphone jack- old-fashioned people like me know what I mean here ... Also missing is Qualcomm's aptX for high resolution headphone sound (again very few people will notice it so it's not really a biggie...)My only real criticism is that the phone is slippery. Again nothing huge in terms of complaining but just sayin': get yourself a proper grip case and a screen protector.Software bugs will be there as is the case with all Samsung A-series (I know that because I experienced them first-hand for a long time).Camera won't be maintained properly over the years by Samsung despite its claim of 4 years of software and 5 years of security updates promised...but all that I expected.The screen is covered by gorilla glass 5 and the rest is ALL plastic. Again,no complaints here give the price.No charger in the box,just a usb c cable as is the case with all Samsung phones. I'd recommend to get a 30W Ugreen charger as they're excellent and cheap with usb c port just like the one on Samsung A34 and most Samsung phones anyway...I would definitely recommend this phone in the £190-£300 range.Just one last thing: don't install everything that Samsung is telling you when you set it up. Look for the options and choose or even skip it. There's plenty of bloatware on the phone when you finish the set-up and start it,so you would wanna delete some stuff anyway and the more it is,the worse for you.

Replaced a Galaxy J7 prime2 (rare beast!). Great screen, lots of memory, good, battery life. All for a reasonable price! Also does 5G and NFS. Very happy.

Moving from the previous phone to the A34 5G was a great choice. I got the discount and the features were amazing, specifically the camera. I think for this price range, the camera is more than I expected (clear, night mode, zoom quality, etc.)

I had to replace my Samsung S9 phone because it was playing up. I liked the A34 and it is very good.I haven't had any problems with it since buying it.I did have to contact the seller because the seals on the box were undone. The seller came back very quickly and reassured me concerning the phone but also said that they would replace or refund me. Due to the reassurance from the seller I decided to keep the phone and I am glad that I did.

Like this phone a lot. Good storage capacity, sharp screen resolution, great picture quality from camera and good battery life. Only negative is having to buy a headphone connector to plug into charging outlet instead of extra input for headphones. Seems to be a Samsung decision on all it's products now though. All in all happy with this phone for money paid.

The supplier delivered a day before the due date. That is supper impressive. Thank you.The product is also what they claim it to be in terms of all qualities like battery life, size, screen brightness, memory speed etc. I think the product is well worth the price.

I like the mobile features, design, sound, camera quality. But battery life is not great.
