There's 0.8g per 100g of *iron*, so I'm guessing not enough per 5g (teaspoon) to rely on your intake of *iron*. There's also no mention of *iron* on the package.

What weight of beets would be the equivalent of 500 g?

It’s not a substitute to the fresh vegetable. Less fibre, no more juice. It’s a product to add to smoothies, soup (tho didn’t like it as a soup add on). Or with water in a glass for some of the benefits of beetroot. Read my previous comment on this product.
