I purchased the Waterdrop Whole House Filter and I have been trying different Carbon Filters.We are on well water and it stinks so have been trying to find a real charcoal not just coconut. I changed to this Carbon Filter yesterday and no smell at all in my faucets. When I first turned on the faucets black charcoal came out so I am hoping this means it is so much better than the others I have tried. It has only been one day but no smell immediately. Other filters it seemed like there was no change on the new filter.I would recommend this filter

this keeps the gunk from the city water out of my house. Every time I swap it out, the color of the new filter is night and day different. It also stops the chlorine smell from my faucets which everyone appreciates.

filter works as intended

Love this new filtering system and the filters. Lasted way longer than expected. WE were changing the smaller fiber ones every month. Changed to this system and the filters lasted almost one year.

I use these as prefilters for a water softener. Florida water is awful if you have ever visited you know to be true. The carbon absorbs the smell the 10 inch filter will last about 6 weeks filtering the whole house the 20 inch filter only last a couple more weeks before the smell returns. The water tastes fine even with the smell it does pass through a softer and UV light sanatizer

Filter does what it’s supposed to. First time purchasing filter after buying a new home. We had a water main break down the road from us just a week after installing this filter. This caused our town to issue a boil water advisory. The next day I checked the filter and it had done a great job stopping all types of gunk.

We love the filters however, we are finding with a family of 4, these filters are lasting 1 to 1 1/2 Months before they need to be replaced. We even installed a pre-filter in hopes that would help. Taste, Water Pressure are GREAT but, why such a short life span? Anyone else having this issue?
