The Best Monitor
Hello. Sony Inzone M9 II is the best monitor I have used for the last 10 years. It's disheartening to observe that many YouTube videos favor other brands within their respective categories.

Quite nice, actually
--- GAME SETTINGS ---Reddit search "𝙄𝙣𝙯𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙈9 𝙄𝙄 - 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨" to see my up-to-date best settings.--- REVIEW ---Pros:* Impressive HDR color accuracy.* Shockingly good contrast in HDR for an IPS.* No flickering (as far as I can tell).* Firmware upgrades via USB.* Automatically switches to HDR mode with Windows.Cons:* HDR blooming can be seen on dark solid colors. However, it's been barely noticeable in typical content.* Max 750 nits brightness clips some detail in bright HDR highlights. My home office PC is primarily for work and browsing the web during the day, but also gaming in the evening and on the weekends. As such, I needed an LCD that could pull double-duty and not suck at any of those things. So far, I can live with the M9 II's deficiencies in exchange for its other benefits.

Fantastic Monitor Marred by a Dead Pixel Right Out of the Box
The media could not be loaded. I was so excited to finally upgrade to a 4K monitor, but my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. Right out of the box, I discovered a dead pixel, which completely ruined my experience—and honestly, my whole weekend. I had planned to break it in with some gaming, but that was off the table. To make matters worse, customer service offered no real solution beyond a refund. I wanted a replacement, but apparently, that’s not an option. Now, I’m stuck waiting potentially up to 30 days for a refund (hopefully closer to 14, but we’ll see).I was genuinely excited about this monitor’s potential, but this experience has left me hesitant to purchase it again. It’s a real shame because the monitor seemed fantastic otherwise. Overall, a huge bummer.

Absolutely gorgeous gaming monitor, no smart-TV nonsense
This is a fantastic choice for a really high quality gaming monitor with no compromises. Marketed by Sony as optimized for compatibility with the PS5, it's of course well suited for PC gaming as well.I previously was using a Samsung Odyssey G70B, which is fairly comparable to this; it's also a nice monitor, but it has a tacky nVidia logo silkscreened onto the front, distractingly glowy gamer lights, and is saddled with Samsung's smart TV software built in that constantly nags you for Internet connectivity and their connected services. In comparison, this Sony monitor is a breath of fresh air: it's just a really, REALLY nice panel with a simple but clear to navigate onscreen display, lots of connectivity, and a smartly designed stand. Even the nVidia logo can be removed if you want.Setup is really simple, and I was up and running in only a couple minutes. There's a large external 19.5V power brick, and a Displayport cable is included. (There's 1 DP port and 2 HDMI ports, plus a USB port; only the DP cable is included, though, so if you need HDMI you'll have to buy that separately.) Stand assembly is super easy - just screw the base onto the stand, then snap the stand onto the monitor. No tools required. One really cool aspect of the stand is it's designed to swivel around fluidly; if you ever want to turn your monitor to show your roommate or a guest something, you'll love this monitor. It's one of the smartest stand designs I've ever seen, and I like it way more than the two-leg-prongs designs Samsung uses.Visually, this thing is just stunning. It's bright, responsive, and pixel-dense - everything you'd want from a competitive gaming monitor. I have no feedback - it's just perfect to my eyes. Color balance is correct, colors are vibrant - 10/10. I don't have professional calibration devices to prove it, but for me, this is the best-looking monitor I've ever owned. For those who care deeply about bezels, the one on this monitor is deceptive, a bit - it looks like it should go edge to edge when the power is off, but there's actually about 6-7mm around the edge of the actual panel on all sides except the bottom, where there's 3mm plus the bottom plastic bezel. It's no big deal but don't expect this to be perfectly edge-to-edge. (The Samsung Odyssey G70B is almost the exact same situation, so this is par for the course in this product category.)Simple onscreen controls, no smart-TV nonsense, and a beautiful display in an elegant package that isn't overly GAMER that would go with any decor - Sony has a real winner on their hands here.

Immersive, High-Performance Display That Elevates My Gaming Experience
I’ve been using this Sony INZONE M9 II as my main gaming monitor for a few weeks now, and the jump in quality compared to my old display is incredible. The 27” 4K screen gives me super sharp visuals, and I’m really impressed with the color accuracy—it makes everything from open-world RPGs to fast-paced shooters look vibrant and detailed. The Full Array LED backlight seems to provide deeper blacks and richer contrast, especially when playing in darker environments. One of the biggest game-changers for me has been the 160Hz refresh rate combined with NVIDIA G-SYNC. Even when I’m in high-motion sequences, the action is buttery smooth with virtually no screen tearing. The 1ms response time also helps cut down on any input lag, which is crucial for competitive gameplay. Another plus is the DisplayHDR 600 support. HDR games have way more “pop,” with highlights that stand out without washing out the darker areas. The built-in speakers are surprisingly decent. While I still use a gaming headset most of the time, it’s nice to have the option to rely on the monitor’s speakers if I’m just casually browsing or watching a quick video. Connectivity-wise, the DisplayPort 2.1 support is future-proof, and the VRR HDMI 2.1 ports work seamlessly with my newer consoles. All in all, this monitor has exceeded my expectations in terms of gaming performance, and I can easily recommend it to anyone looking for a premium 4K display with top-notch specs.
