Q: I love these, but why are they so expensive and did the price just go up drastically recently?

My SO (significant other) loves them too, and I don't really mind them at all myself. I have to buy them to keep her happy. :) As to price, I suspect that they're made from quality ingredients, and American labor isn't cheap. I haven't ordered them lately, so I haven't noticed a price increase but since the prices of almost everything are rising these days, I wouldn't be surprised at an increase.
