Q: Where and how do you apply this?

You can apply this on your wrist, temples, and lips (I have not tried the lips) and you can relax andgo to sleep. You can apply this with your fingers, a Q-tip if you don't want to get your hands dirty.You can change the amount (if you want more or less).

Hi, it's painted on and totally cute! The product itself really works! Helps get me relaxed and sleeping.

Q: Can this be used on children or infants?

It should be fine, but there is a baby balm and also "Night Night" which has even gentler essential oils in it which I happen to use on the skin right around my eye when I get allergies that make my eye water and thus, for the skin to chap. Although I always recommend caution with any new product, and especially with children or pets, this is a generally safe and gentle product which should be fine for babies and kids. Do recommend Night Night even more than Sleep Balm, for sure, though. :-)
