Bought these for stocking stuffers for the guys in our family. They loved them! Good quality and great fun!

I bought these for my sons after they fell in love with a book that features a kendama (Dodsworth in Tokyo by Tim Egan, highly recommend it). They love them, even my husband and I love trying to get the ball on the spear or in the cup! It's tricky and takes practice which is fun. They're also nicely made and seem sturdy. If you're buying them for younger kids, you should know that it's a *solid* wooden ball and almost has the heft of a pool ball on a string. My sons are 6 and 3 and as I was opening the package I had a moment of "whhaat was I thinking with this." We've had a couple near misses of people getting hit with swinging kendama balls, but now we mostly use them outside and it's better. Anyway, great toy, would suggest it for ages 8 or 9 and up though! Even some adults would probably love it!

Great starter kendamas. Perfect for my boys to try before I get more expensive/higher quality ones.

These Kendama look good and work well. However, they are a bit fragile. My son dropped his on a wood floor while using and a piece of one of the cups chipped off. Glued back together just fine.

Excellent product great value great price

I bought these for my grown sons. They loved them. The Kendama is sturdy and a great size for an adult. The wood grain is beautiful. Plus another string is included. They have held up well, so far.

So fun! It’s a challenge but worth the effort. Quality is nice.

The first night we got the kendama's one of them broke. The string completely came out of the kendama. I was very unhappy. Then about a week later the whole side of the other kendama chipped off and also the string came out again.In the short time the kendama's were used the ball majorly chipped of the paint. The only good thing about this order was that the kendama came in a okay amount of time. If you are thinking about ordering this product just don't. You will regret it. Even though this was cheap, it was a waste of my money and it will be for you to if you decide to order this product.
