Not worth it
Took a lot of strength to use and the handle was very uncomfortable to hold. Iād much rather slice it with a knife considering the effort it takes to drag this thing through a watermelon and discomfort it caused my hands. I returned it.

Takes a bit of practice.
It took me one try to figure out you have to slice the watermelon in 2 directions. It was great entertainment for those standing around watching me use the slicer. I'll continue to use it this Summer. We'll have lots of watermelons to practice on. ;-)

Easy to use
Works great. Simple to use and cuts it perfectly in chunks without the mess to clean up.

DO NOT BUY!
I could not use this thing by myself. My wife had to hold the watermelon as I attempted to cut it with this contraption. After the first cut you must keep the cutter going in the same cut place of the first one or you end up with tiny bits of melon and a few bigger ones. There was no place to give NO STARS, and that is the reason I gave the one Star. It is easy to clean though. That is the only thing good I can say about it.

Not comfortable to use
This device does work, and increases the efficiency of cutting watermelon, but, maybe it might be the way I'm holding it...it's really a strain on the wrist. Maybe it's alright if you're just cutting one watermelon, since you're not holding it for a long time anyways, but I had to cut many watermelons for catering, and had wrist problems the next day
