Whispers of Time Tarot (Whispers of Time Tarot, 1)

To be honest, for a brief moment in time, I hated this deck. I thought it was too dark, and I considered sending it back. But boy oh boy, has it grown on me! It is now my favorite deck! I no longer see it as "dark," but rather, as I don't know...pensive? Introspective? It seems to dwell in the shadow world between our minds and the outer world. I'm not putting this very well. It's not gloom and doom, nor is it sweetness and light. It's realistic, and shows deep emotion, which to be honest can definitely be mixed. I absolutely love it and find myself wanting to pick it up constantly. I can't wait till the Tarot bag and journal come out! The only card I'm not sure about is the Hanged Man, who literally hangs by his neck rather than upside-down, though the guidebook, which is very good, explains that. The card stock is perfection, and I'm so glad they went with a borderless deck. I can't say enough great things about it!

I am not sure if I have ever written a review, but I absolutely love this deck. It is my understanding that the artist originally painted this deck with acrylics, which is her preferred technique, and enhanced them to look more like oil paintings. If she is posting this on Instagram, she is obviously not hiding it and should not be criticized for her preferred method of creativity. This deck is stunning!!! The card stock is wonderful, and I have every intention of buying one if not two backups.

This deck is obviously AI. The worst part is that the creator pretends it is not.

Not much to say about this except that if you've found yourself really liking an AI deck, you're so far removed from being a valid spiritualist that you may as well just ask ChatGPT about your future. You've lost all credibility, as has this publisher and "artist".
