This is exactly what I wanted for a night light. Most of them are too bright and the wrong shade of light for sleeping - the amber color is much more soothing. I like a really dark bedroom but I still want a night light for not running into furniture if I have to get up during the night. My only criticism is I wish they turned off during the day to save energy, but these stay on 24 hours a day so I don't know how long they will last. But they are cheap enough that it doesn't really matter.

If you want something for good ambient light in a bedroom at night, but not so bright it wakes you up or ruins your night vision, this is it. They work well and are well built. I have not found that they get hot and they are plugged in all the time. Good purchase.

Most cost effective night light I have seen so far, especially for being UL Listed and from a reputable brand. Love the warm amber and timeless design! Much easier on the eyes than other LED night lights. Wish it were even dimmer to promote sleep, but visibility is good without being excessively bright. Great solution for sockets where the ground plug facing up and light sensors are less useful.

These are the same style, but I think the LED is being driven too brightly. other than being a bright amber they do throw a nice pattern on the ceiling. technology will improve and eventually we will get a brightness knob. if you want a bright amber crystal shaped LED nightlight GE makes them, these are what you're looking for.

This light throws just enough light to keep me from walking into a wall in the dark. Does not disturb sleep. While it is “old school” as there are no switches to turn on or to dim, it does exactly what it needs to do, and I regularly plug and unplug every day.

I love these little night lights. they provide just enough light for walking in the dark. The Glass Carved looks expensive and very classy. Would definitely buy more.

I wanted just enough light to be able to see the floor (and that there are no toys, etc. in my path). I don't think my outlets are up too high, but these lights just do not really illuminate the floor. They're great to show you where the wall and outlet is, and it glows a really pretty amber a few inches around the light, but that's it. I still don't know if there are any toys or my husbands slippers in my path of travel.

I originally ordered it then returned it because it stays on all the time, it doesn’t have a sensor. And I originally didn’t like that it’s not as flush to the wall as I thought it was. Then tried other lights and ended up returning those because they were way too bright and some were just as hunky and THEN repurchased these. The main issue was the always on. I had one JUST LIKE THIS ONE THAT HAD A SENSOR and it was more flush to the wall but That one bit the dust and can’t find the sensor ones anymore. And I really liked that lite. But I do like this light as it’s not overwhelming bright like a lot of other lights. It does give off a NICE LOW glow.I use this for a bedroom where I just needed a little light. The amber light is soothing. I’m glad I repurchased it. I just unplug it when I’m not using it.
