My greyhound gets so stressed having her nails trimmed with clippers. On one occasion she flinched which led to her getting her nail cut too low and her bleeding. I ordered this pet nail grinder in desperation as I needed to get my dogs quick to receed and the clippers were causing her so much upset. The grinder arrived quickly and in great condition. The grinder has worked so well . It's much quieter than I thought it would be . I use it daily to get my dog use to it . She has thick nails and the grinder has no trouble dealing with them . Over the couple of weeks I've had them her nails are already much shorter and she isn't stressed anymore . I used to fear the day my husband wouldn't be able to cut her nails with me holding her and offering treats . Now no more worrying, I can't believe I can now trim her nails myself with no risk to her or me . The savings also compared to if you go to the vets to get the nails trimmed. Our vet charges £30 for each nail trimming visit so you'd be quids in getting this grinder and doing it yourself. The grinder is easy to hold with 3 speed settings and a light so you can see the nail clearly. I wish I tried this years ago and avoided all the stress for us and the dog .

My dog is not a fan of having his nails clipped and so i thought usibg a nail grinder might be better for him. This product has been great for him. I only need to use the lowest setting (he is a beagle) and it is so quiet which is great for him. With the use of a few treats during the process, nail time has become so much easier!!

I have 2 large dogs, an Alaskan Malamute & German Shepherd. Both of these dogs have tough nails, and the Malamute is especially stubborn with having his nails clipped! He gets very stressed out (by both the cutting and the noise it makes!) and constantly pulls his legs away, which can be very dangerous when using nail clippers.I never knew these nail grinders even existed, so I bought this product as soon as I head about it, I was unsure how useful these would be with how tough my dog's nails are, but this product does really work!Due to the tougher nails, I put the nail grinder on max speed, and it's still really quiet and doesn't affect my dogs. It grinds their nails really well and both my dogs are completely unbothered by it... what a relief! The addition of the LED lights is so helpful, so I can really make sure I am grinding correctly.This product produces quite a lot of nail dust, but the clear plastic surround guard catches nearly all of this dust! The product came fully charged, I've used it 6 times (3x on each dog) and it still has around 70%!The fact that I haven't used the clippers since, proves how useful this product is!

Shockingly good!Our very nervous dog lay down (with treats) and happily let us grind each of his claws down. We’ve never used anything like this before and struggled with clippers or a scratching board before with mixed results. We are confident we’ll be able to keep his claws at a decent length and maintain them easily without stress.Quiet product, even on the highest setting which cut through our big dogs thick nails easily at a steady pace.Little to no mess, cleaned up easily.

Unfortunately my dog was still having none of it so couldn't trim his nailsl. I can see how it would work lovely if your dog doesn't mind nail trims but this was still no help for mine. I also don't find it to be particularly quiet as it says my dogs were most concerned by the noise of it. It does however feel like good quality and the LED lights would be really handy if your dog lets you use it. Back to the drawing board for me 😩

I have literally just received and had a go straight away. Never done any trimming before so a complete novice. My whippet pup has had his nails clipped before but not been very good at staying still. I am blown away. It had 90% charge already. It is so quiet even on fastest speed. The guard catches nail filings. My pup had a few treats to get him in the mood but even after he’d eaten them he sat and let me do his nails. Very calm and not much fidgeting I’m so pleased with this product. It is good quality and feels good in the hand. The three speeds work well I only used the first and second but even highest speed was so quiet. Great size too not bulky but not flimsy either. Would

Our dog is very timid when she has to have her nails cut. She is a Lurcher and has long nails which even our vet said that he would now only cut them at the same time as her being put to sleep to have her teeth cleaned. The live part of her nails extends way down towards the end of the nail and it is so difficult to cut them with normal cutters without nipping this and making her squeal and try to back off. I recently saw the Iredoon Dog Nail Grinder for sale on Amazon and decided to buy one as it appeared to be the answer to my problem. I gently tried it out on a few of her nails and she wasn’t at all bothered by it. It is light-weight, has 3 speeds and is very quiet. I found it easy to use as it runs off its own rechargeable battery so there are no trailing wires and the small high speed grinding wheel is very effective. In addition it has a built-in LED light which can be switched on to throw a small amount of light where it’s needed.
