After reading the first Branding Her novel I was just expecting a so so book but this book was so much better than the first one. I really enjoyed where the author took the reader in this book. The erotic scenes were much more believable than in the first one and I think the characters were explored on a deeper level. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed about is that the next book is little too expensive for what it is.

Book 2 in the "Branding Her" series by Alex B. Porter makes exactly the same mistakes as the first volume in the series (see my review of Book 1). There's no plot or plot twists, no character development, no dramatic tension, no passion. Just another long, boring, predictable narrative about two dull, cliched characters.I can't continue with this series. At this point, I don't care about the characters or what happens to them. It's just more of the same. If Porter wants to stop disappointing her readers, it would behoove her to learn storytelling, as well as the structure (and reader expectations) of the erotica genre.If you want to read something light and forgettable while waiting for an airplane, this will work. But it won't do what erotica is supposed to do--create heat you can FEEL.

This was an exciting addition to the first book, but it was far too short. I guess it's on to the next book in the series to find out what happens next!

I think weather you are gay or straight you can relate. We have all been, trying to balance our work and romantic lives. I am sort of able to relate to Kaylee, because as a disabled woman I don't think my mom accepts me as sexual adult woman I can't wait to read more from the author.

When they say it's Steamy Lesbian Romance, they mean it! They're easy reads, and once I start reading one, I can't stop until I'm done.

I have read the whole collection and these books are absolutely the best I have read in a long time. Thank you so much for writting such an amazing read, I look forward for the next collection.

I absolutely loved this book and am about to start the next one! I can't get enough of Kaylee and Alex! Fantastic writing!

This is the second book that I have read in this series, and once again, Porter kept my attention. The relationship between Kaylee and Alexis deepens, with Alex taking on a more dominant role. Simultaneously, the obstacles between Kaylee and Alex’s relationship begin to grow…some not so insurmountable. The erotic scenes go up a notch in this femtastic novella, and there are many unexpected surprises. Mutual Fun held a welcome feminist slant at one point which was refreshing. We see Alex’s romantic side emerge, as she starts to realise the true extent of her feelings for Kaylee; likewise for Kaylee, who is not as shy as she once was about expressing her desires. We see a submissive/dominant dynamic developing between the two, and it’s all very exciting. Even with work pressures mounting, the lovers still make time for each other. Like the story itself, the love scenes start out quite innocent, then build up to an explosive climax. Porter certainly does not skimp on details in her steamy scenes – they are lengthy and explicit. I like the play on gender roles in this novella, and Porter certainly gives the reader a lot to think about. Eagerly anticipating the next instalments.

It was good fun with the arrival of Alex's more dominant side and the drama surrounding the work. In some ways I wish the story made something more about the drama outside the bedroom as it sometimes feels like a foregone conclusion that everything will turn out okay but at the same time it's not here for drama, it's romance!

I was sceptical to start with this series however I decided to give it a try. There is alot of sexual content in all of this book series however there is excellent story lines all with very plausible scenarios. I thought the storylines where handled very carefully and there was closure on all the situations that risen. Excellent book series and I would recommend.

For me this book flowed better than the first book. I enjoyed the story of the first book, but some parts of the relationship seemed odd for the characters and happened very fast. However this book explains more of that. I really enjoyed these episodes and am looking forward to the next book.Also the extra short story 'Valentine's Day' is a nice bonus. A sweet part of the story which shows how much the Characters Alex & Kaylee care for each other.
