Rolling Road to Frustration
Wish I can be positive. I tried this to clean the wheels on an Ho Allegheny Steam loco. I must say this rolling road is a complete fail. There is to much play in the roller carriages and the magnet that supposed to keep them secure. It is not strong enough. Because of this when you attempt to align the loco wheels on the RR rollers , the other wheels aligned before fall out of the rollers . Very frustrating. Also doing this procedure is extremely risky since you are messing with a very fragile area containing all the control rods for the loco wheels. This has to be repeated for every wheel you want to service. Add the fact that there is no proper instruction and the pads adhesion is completely non existing. I am sorry I wasted $150 for this . If they made the rollers adjustable to fit more snuggly in the base it may have been less tasking. The roller carriages are set at their max which is not enough. I have the woodland Scenic TT4561 is a lot simpler and more practical then this over priced rolling road, The only problem with the woodland scenic unit is that it is to small for large steam. So back to cleaning the wheels the old school way. Wish I could return my rolling road.

Not a Bachmann product
This item is made by Proses not Bachman. Even the rollers were not Bachmann parts. When I received the item, only one of the rollers was intact. The glue failed on four of the rollers. One of the rollers was broken. I was able to re-glue and repair the rollers. There was no type of packing for the rollers. The manufacturer should investigate a better adhesive to glue the aluminum to the plastic. Better packing would have prevented the pieces from damage.

Poor quality -
Poor quality, sloppy alignment, not something you’d want to place your loco on on run at any speed. I don’t trust it at all. Actually, I could not get the rollers to stay put or not come a part to sit the train on it. Would be much better if roller design and assembly were tighter tolerences as these move side to side, come a part... Nope

Poor quality plastic
Poor quality plastic. Glue joints failed between plastic and aluminum parts. Difficult to get it to run smooth at low speed. Locos runs fine on railroad tracks but not on the Bachmann Rolling Road. For an item that cost more than some locos it is not worth the money.
