Spyder 5011060 Infiniti G35 03-07 2DR Projector Headlights - Xenon/HID Model Only (Not Compatible With Halogen Model) - LED Halo - DRL - Black - High H4 (Included) - Low D2R (Not Included)

These are a great replacement set for G35 headlights. They look awesome and will definitely turn heads wherever you go (so don't blitz by the cops :P).I'm an almost total novice so the whole installation took me about 6 hours. I would project install time for someone else at between 2-4 hours; the reason being that I could not for the life of me figure out how to get the wiring harness off the factory bulbs. I blew an hour trying to figure that out and then my (car knowledgeable) buddy came out and it took us another hour to get them off. It's not because the clip is anything fancy. Rather, it's that it is so hard to get access to. We also had some complications due to my bumper having an issue due to some hit-and-run parking lot jerk (thanks guy!).The one drawback to this kit is the set of instructions it comes with. The broken English is a little annoying as it can send you down the wrong path on two steps in particular. However, what is more annoying is that the instructions omit one VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL. I have/had a stock 2004 G35 Coupe. While I cannot speak to this being true of other G35s since I haven't seen them, be aware that when you go to move your Xenon bulbs over from the factory unit to the Spyders, you MUST reverse the bulbs in their housing. This little detail is not mentioned or shown anywhere in the instructions. What you will find is that if you do not reverse the bulbs, when you go to put them into the Spyder housing, it won't line up correctly. However, it will be close, which will make you (if you are a novice) think you are just doing something wrong. This was another 35-40 minutes wasted. Once my buddy realized the problem, it was a cinch.Another annoying thing about the instructions is how dark and low detail some of the pictures are. This doesn't matter for most steps but there is one in particular where you have to route your Xenon bulb harness into the Spyder chassis where it is hard to tell where it wants it. If you feed it through the wrong spot, you will find that the bulb housing will not position right because the braided cable of the harness doesn't have enough 'give' to get out of your way.There's a few other issues with the instructions (grounding wire placement for one) but you get the point. However, I am sticking with the 5 star rating. I didn't want to downgrade the headlights themselves b/c of my own lack of knowledge. Someone else might get a mechanic to install them after all.They look amazing and so far the reaction has been "Dannnnnng!"

When i installed the headlights they were working fine. Until after a month i notice that the passengers light looks purplish. And now yesterday my drivers side is acting up and i have to drive with high beams on. Would not recommend

The light are nice and simple too install but as I'm putting it all together the dust cover didnt seem to cover the lower beams cover not happy bout that.

Looked like a great product for the price, but even though it said it would fit my 2003 Infiniti, they did not.

I'm glad I read this. Why don't you contact him? Why did your product melt? $500 and your product isn't even up to the quality of the MFR product?
