With crime in our area going up we bought house cameras for the perimeter of our property. This camera has such a great view you can actually see people's faces. We hooked it up to a DVR recorder so it is always recording. Our neighbors had an accident the other day and were able to use our tape for there issue. They were shocked at the great quality of the camera
