Not a fan of these
I bought them and tried them and they are VERY difficult to get out of the plugin. The little handle broke off when I was trying to get it out. I read all the directions but I was doing what it said. I ended up getting rid of them because I was scared I wouldn't be able to get them out. I wouldn't by these.

Child will not be able to remove!
Protective plugs fit tight, child will not be able to remove. I like these better than the rounds one that a toddler might be able to remove with some work, and kids will work at it! When you first plug them in you will need a wrench/pliers to remove, that is why I gave 4 and not 5 stars. I think when you work the device in and out of the receptacle that might loosen up, then be able to remove with your fingers. The wing loop locks into the device, use your finger nail in the middle to access, then flip the loop 90° and pull the device out. If you have older receptacles that are a little loose these will work!

Adult proof
No need to worry about your child getting into the sockets with these. Although, if you end up wanting to remove one, I wish you the best of luck. Not only are they child proof, but they are adult proof as well. I fear they might be stuck there for a while...

Adult Proof and broke multiple times
My wife and I have a 10 month old who just became mobile. We bought these as a knee jerk reaction to the need to keeping our young one safe. At first these fit the bill even though they were surprisingly difficult to place in the sockets. The other night my wife and I went to take a few out to utilize the plugs. The flap that comes out to allow you to remove them broke off on all of the covers. This created an unsafe situation where I had to find something to pry the covers off. I would stay away unless you do not plan on using the outlets any time soon.
