Outstanding quality, beautiful collection

The set of 5 Barbie gowns were all very pretty and very easy to put on my granddaughter's barbies, so I am rating them 4 stars, because they seem like a lot of work. However, the black and peach colored gowns could've used an extra inch of material in the back. As you can see from the pics, the Velcro closure didn't quite reach. Also, all of the colors except the black one needed to be stitched up a bit higher on the skirt to close up the holes, as seen in the pics. I wasn't able to sew the peach colored skirt up as high as it needed to be, because there just wasn't enough material. The Barbie's hips wouldn't fit through, so I had to let some back out. Also, my granddaughter was getting frustrated, because when she was playing, the dresses would keep slipping down. Maybe just the soft material against plastic doesn't have enough friction to hold it in place, I don't know, but I ended up doing all the above mentioned repairs and then adding a halter type strap to all of them to keep them in place. Luckily, with raising 4 kids I've had enough experience with sewing to be able to make all the adjustments needed. I do want to say again though, that they are very pretty gowns and certainly seem like a lot of work to make, just wish they didn't need so many adjustments. Just wanted to add, although probably not too important, but the listing says these are washable and although I haven't washed them, I'm not sure I'd throw them into the washing machine. The material seems too delicate for that. When I turned the dresses inside out to sew up the skirts, I found that there were a lot of frayed 'strings' of material on the insides of the gowns that I had to trim off.

The dresses are beautiful on the front side. Don’t get me wrong and I think the quality of the stitching is there. I’m just super confused why there is no design on the backside of the gown. I know pictures in the description show the backside of the gown with no Detail, but in real life, it looks weird. Of course my daughter is 4 and does not care. She loves them. Would recommend just be prepared for them to be a little weird I guess .

These dresses are GORGEOUS!! Each one has a different design and are amazing quality. The only thing I wish they had was straps to go over the Barbie’s shoulders. All they have is Velcro in back. So if you pull hard enough the dress slips right off or if you just can’t get it tight enough the dress won’t stay up.

I thought it was the dolls with the gowns. I probably didn't check it out good enough. My eyes dont work to well but im very pleased with the gowns. My grandbabies definitely are gonna enjoy these.
