Use it for scale purchases to capture an image of all products we buy for recycling. Your mounting placement determines your field of focus since it is fixed. Advertised pictures when shopping for the camera were a bit more crisp and clear than what I got from the actual camera. But all in all, satisfied.

great little camera. easy to mount and a long cable to the "control box". The only problem I have is that the cable is proprietary, so don't break it.
