I ordered this kit as a gift for my son and got one for myself as well. We keep them in the car so we are ready to fish at a moments notice. The Rod is nicely constructed and the reel is very well designed. The extra spool is great for changing to a different line at a moments notice depending on the type of fishing we are going to do. The value of the kit is exceptional considering the quality is far superior than I expected. It was delivered on the expected date and the seller answered all my questions within 8 hours. I'm considering adding another for some drift fishing.

We travel to all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico several times a year. Plus wintering in Florida I needed a dependable compact rod and reel kit.The rod and reel could be purchase separately but I needed a well produce travel package. Something durable yet light weight. The full zippered foam padded bag with a small assorted tackle box was perfect. The foam is cut out so the rod, reel and tackle box fit securely. There is still room for a pair of small needle nose pliers and some other basic tackle. I use the tubes from TP for top water plugs and shallow diving plug all for saltwater.The rod is fast enough for long casts and enough backbone to get the job done. Of course it's all about the reel and it's drag. Both smooth and silk in both directions. I used a poly smooth braided 12 lb test and could cast almost 1/2 the spoon. But still plenty left for the fight.Made a nice Snook Rod for Ft. Pierce, Fl as well as Barracuda in Jamaica. I know bragging bragging bragging where's the pictures.I was afraid to get too far from it's while swimming, things like that often grow legging.Any case I definitely recommend this set up. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Good quality, it is metal, but fells very light on hand. Love the nice carrying case, and the plastic cover for the extendable pole, definitely a surprise. Can’t wait to go camping with it.

Utter trash. Used two times. After the first time the action on the rod felt like molasses had been poured all over it. And YES I did rinse the rod and dry it properly after first use. Oh and it rusted horribly on the screws. Don't even think about using this near saltwater.By the second time i used it, maybe 8th cast of that day, it snapped the rod cleanly where the handle meets the rod. The sleek look of the rod is just a facade. The majority of the structure is cheap plastic.Wish I could get a refund but at least now I get an excuse to buy a decent rod/reel.

Too bad the nylon case it is does not readily convert to tackle box and fishing pole carrier. Otherwise it a great set of fishing gear minus the fish holder line.

Perfect for your Honda or small Sedan car just periscopes out and your ready to fish. Looks great too it's not cheaply made at all.

Fishing is a very patience to test. So take the children to go fishing, entertainment and test coexist. This hook is easy to carry and easy to install. I hope I can catch fish.

This is a well built and quality product. The mechanism is smooth and strong. If cared for well, I’m sure it will remain usable for many years.

Received the goods for a week, the accessories are complete, there are many small accessories, it is very easy to assemble, the fishing rod is stylish, the feel is very comfortable, not heavy, as for the effect, I have to wait for the time to go to try

Bought this for my son and he keeps it in his car in case he is out and about and spots a good place to fish. He absolutely loves it and said the quality is great, so pleased with it we bought my husband one too.

I have no knowledge of fishing!! Bought for a gift so all I can say is it arrived extremely quickly, it looks good quality, is very lightweight, compact and could be taken on days out on the boat easily. Only downside is that if it was me having to rig it all up I wouldn’t have a clue as the instructions seem pointless! I will update once it’s been gifted and I get feedback!

Used the Sougayilang Telescopic Fishing Rod for the first time two weeks ago on holiday in Cornwall. After an hours fishing for mackerel using a 2 oz weight and a set of feathers the rod snapped just above the second eyelet from the handle. This was while casting out from a sea kayak. I contacted the supplier for a replacement rod, they responded very quickly and have said they will replace the rod. That is great customer service!

Awful product. Used once fishing off a calm water harbour and the rod snapped. We used it for the first time on holiday and unfortunately missed the return window and cannot find their details otherwise we would have contacted. This fishing rod should not have snapped with only one use. Very poor quality a waste of money as we also had to buy another one on holiday (a cheap rod that didn't snap!)

The rod snapped when it tangled in the reeds, unfortunately, it appears stronger than it is.On the plus side the reel and other bits were ok.

Arrived on time and has proved to be exactly what was needed as it delivered the goods when used!

Lieferung schnell und ohne Mängel. Die Rute kommt schon ganz edel daher und der kleine elegante Koffer ist toll. Hatte die Rute für meine Skandinavienreise beschafft und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Ist mit dem richtigen Zubehör sehr universell einsetzbar. Rolle ist für den Preis wirklich gut. Habe die Rute für den Zubehörkauf mit im Angelgeschäft gehabt und der Verkäufer, der diese Marke von Amazon nicht kannte meinte für den Preis wirklich in Ordnung. Ich habe sie nun vorwiegend auf Raubfisch genutzt und war beim pilkern vom Kanu aber auch von Hafenmauern erfolgreich. Mit den größeren Dorschen kam sie auch gut zurecht, aber okay ein richtig zehrender Drill bleibt einen ja da auch erspart. Alles in allen für gelegentliche Angelgelüste während der Reise mit dem richtigen Zubehör gut zu gebrauchen. Ach ja die Schnur - sehr stabil neigt aber zur Perückenbildung. Mit monofiler geht's besser aber da bekommt man natürlich noch weniger auf die doch schon recht kleine Spule.

Après achat, j'ai demandé conseil à un commerçant de matériel de pêche qui est aussi un passionné de pêche (mer et rivière). Son avis : cette canne à pêche est très bien pour débuter : bar, truite, brochet. J'ai aujourd'hui pêché ma première truite en étang avec une cuiller Pezon & Michel rapid af argent n° 2 REF : 97816 que ce marchand m'a conseillée. Comme je peux aisément alterner entre mer et rivière, il ne me reste plus qu'à tester pour le bar. Très satisfait de mon achat : canne 2.40 m, 30/60 grammes.
