Fintie Folio Leather Case Cover for iPad 4th Generation with Retina Display/New iPad 3/iPad 2 - Black

I received this with some trepidation from a few reviews about problems, but felt comfortable based on other reviews. First, the cover is very nice, well stitched and attractive with a nice flap that tucks down into the case to form a Velcro lock that holds the IPad firmly in place. For my retina display IPad the holes line up perfectly, clearly leaving the camera free and as well as the switches. The case folds nicely to create a sturdy holder for setting the IPad on a table. The case padding provides substantial protection to the screen and case. I have had several other "highly rated" covers that didn't match this one in either looks or functionality. Many have had plastic lips that caught the edge of the IPad and would break off one by one, or had multiple folds in the case for "options" for standing upright, which only created less structural integrity for holding the IPad in a usable position. To all that add the "professional" appearance of this case cover at an exceptionally good price, and this cover is at the top of the choices. Outstanding! Update 2017 This is my second purchase of this case, having purchased my last several year's ago that I have used continuously day in and day out since then. It has traveled the world with me, had untold encounters with grand kids from 2 to 12 year's old playing games and watching videos. I finallly decided to buy a new one even though the stitching still was perfect and the case was still intact and the magnet still functioned as it should turning off the Ipad when closed, and it still stands up with the handy fold and tuck support. It was starting to wear thin on the fold but was not torn or ripped. Like me, it was starting to show some wear and I wanted a new one. I had a couple of others before buying the Fintie Folio, but they were trash within six months to a year of use. My new one looks exactly like my old but it is shiny new and makes my Ipad look new as well. This is definitely an outstanding buy in terms of durability, quality of construction and attractiveness. Terrific!

Okay once in a while you run across a product that WOWs all your senses, and this IPAD cover can be classified as such! Since I have Amazon Prime free trial It arrived within two days. To make it easier I will divide this review into several parts: 1 - Packaging - Excellent packaging to say the least. It arrived in my mailbox in a well sealed durable large envelope. Opening it was not that difficult either. 2 - Material - This IPAD cover looks just fabulous. I selected the black color. I doubt if it is 100% real leather but it feels and acts like real leather. From looking at it the material should last decades with the right care. 3 - Design - What kind I say, the design is just awesome. It is quite easy to reach all the buttons including using the camera. The stand is solid and extraordinary. It took me a minute to figure out how to set up the stand, which means anyone can do it! 4 - Value - Unless you're into color schemes that black will do just fine. They do charge slightly more for other colors. It is worth every penny charged if you asked me. Highly recommended to all you IPAD owners seeking the right protection against the elements. IT IS SIMPLY THE BEST!

I bought this for an old iPad2, which it fits perfectly. Here's what I like / dislike about the case... PRO'S - As I said, its a good fit - It offers 2 separate incline positions - The magnet in the front cover wake the iPad without issue every time - I appreciate the look... clean, tidy, not too bulky CON'S - It doesn't offer as much protection as I was hoping, especially for the corners and/or edges. If your kids will be using your iPad, this may not be the case for you. - To incline the iPad, the front cover of the case folds back and tucks into a little holder on the back cover. It tends to slide out of the holder at times. - The volume buttons are a little awkward to access when in the incline position. In summary, this is a decent product, with just a couple of small design flaws. Still it is well worth the small price tag, and at under $15, I would recommend to others.

We have three Fintie cases in our home, two for our Kindles, and this one for our recently purchased iPad 4G. The quality of their products is excellent, and customer service behind the products shines. The Kindle cases have been protected our Kindles through school and travel, so we look forward to excellent protection from this iPad folio. The product is just as described. The black folio has an elegant, understated professional look, and fits the iPad perfectly with all indentations and openings well positioned. I mentioned the customer service. The first folio we received had been slightly damaged in shipping, but it was completely serviceable, and the damage was only a slight cosmetic crease in the back section of the case. I photographed the crease and sent the photos to Fintie, saying that we were disappointed that the folio was not in perfect condition, as our other Fintie products had been at delivery, and suggesting more substantial packing materials in future shipping. I stated that I was not requesting a return and replacement, because time was a factor and we needed the case before departing for travel. I promptly received a reply from Fintie saying that they wanted to offer no less than 100% satisfaction, and that they would send a replacement asap. The product arrived, and it is, indeed, perfect! As I said, excellent product and five star customer service! Will remain a loyal Fintie fan!
