This is for a 25kg 16.5yr old Belgian Malinois who has a weak back left leg that sometimes gives out. The harness helps to gently support her weight so that she can still use the range of movement needed to walk properly. It’s well made and comfortable for her due to the padding. I intentionally bought the medium size, as I’m 5ft 3” and thought that the handles would be too long if I had chosen the one where the edges met on the top of her back. I was correct, and this is perfect for me to use with her when the handles are at their shortest, but my husband can lengthen them and walk her without stopping and getting back ache. I definitely recommend this item and think it’s a great product for the money.EDIT: I modified the design by adding a button and an elastic loop to the top of the harness, so that it will stay around my girl when I need to clean up after her. Not suitable to do this for a male though as it’s not quick release!

Great product, well made . Washable which is important! good size for my 60 kilo dog with back hip issues. Only issue is my dog is male so doing a poo is fine for him with this hip support, but when he wees I have to try and manoeuvre the support in order for him not to wee on it! or remove it completely if I know he's going to do one ! But apart from that (wouldn't be an issue for a female dog) great product comfortable for my dog.

This is so good and such a good idea. My poor lurcher can’t jump on the settee very well and sometimes gets stuck in her bed. Her back legs aren’t as good as they were. I say to her “wait and I’ll help you” she patiently stands and input it under her, she then puts her front paws on the sofa and I lift her up. So easy. If I don’t, she’s jumping up and down doing a ballet dance and sometimes falls backwards. This has been a lifesaver for her. She’s so good, she stands and waits but is always glad she’s made it onto the sofa 😊 also it’s easier on her arthritic hips.

The media could not be loaded. This has been such a life saver for us. My little guy suddenly had issues with his back legs and was dragging them/struggling to get up and walk and we were very much concerned about how to help him. To our surprise he tolerates this well as he usually refuses help and tries to bite if you try to pick him up whilst in pain. The only downside is that it's a little too wide which can cause issues when he comes to weeing so we have to have it slightly further up the body but would recommend buying 2 just in case accidents happen! :')

Well what can I say, I’m sure this is great for dogs that aren’t stubborn old so and so’s! my dog was like ‘nope’ not a chance! I’m not standing up if you use that! I Held him secure for a minute to help him steady himself and he point blank refused to accept the support of this lovely soft comfy harness and promptly plonked himself back down when encouraged to move forward. We ended up buying him dog socks with grips on to aid his getting up and walking. Having said that I can say the adjustability is great, the quality is brilliant and it’s a great product! Just not for dogs like mine who refuse to cooperate 🤣
