These are not going to tip over. I think you could melt butter in the 1 cup or met small amounts of chocolate on the stove. Not sure a obout that. This measuring cup set absolutely surprised me. They weigh much more than standard flop in the drawer measuring cups that lose their measurements and can easily be tipped over once filled. Not these. The round bottom for me is a plus to empty, and the weight is superb. I believe you could use the 1 cup measuring cup for melting butter/chocolate stove top. They are liek a stainless pan. An incredible set. I like them very much. Got the spoons too.

These are great - heavy, stainless steel, easy to level the top off.

I was oh so careful when I went to get measuring cups, I wanted them to last a long time (Preferably forever) These babies have definitely fulfilled that need! I've had mine for over four years, and they are still one of my favorite things in my kitchen. I use them for baking, measuring things for cooking, and occasionally for stirring when I'm in a rush. They are as spotless as the day they came in the mail. They are super sturdy, and I love that they are made from one piece of metal so there are no spots for food to cling and I have zero fear of the handles eventually falling off. They are so dang handy, because they are made of good strong metal I've been known to stick them in the oven to fully melt butter, which works like a charm. I also really like that the measurements are stamped into the handles, so no need to worry about trying to guess what size it is when the labels rub off. If you're looking for a long term investment, these measuring cups are a great addition to your kitchen.

I love these. I have wanted these for a while but never purchased because of the price. My old ones had a broken handle so I finally decided to replace them with the Le Creuset cups. If you are looking for a quality set, look no further! I also have the measuring spoons which I also love. They sit flat, they’re thicker than any others I’ve had in the past and leveling both the cups and spoons is great. The rims are very smooth and thicker..

These are definitely measuring cups to use for generations. They are incredibly sturdy and beautiful measuring cups. They feel and look so elegant and utterly professional. I love how they stay put even empty, the handle not making them topple like plastic measuring cups. There are no seams between the cup and handle to get gummed up or rusty over time like most metal measuring cups, or break from too much pressure packing your brown sugar. On the contrary, I don’t think Schwarzenegger could snap these handles. The measurements are engraved instead of painted so they won’t wear off.I’ve wanted them ever since I saw them used on Anna Olson’s videos because they looked so nice, but they are even better than I’d hoped. My ONLY regret is that they don’t offer the 2/3 cup or 3/4 cup sizes as well, and that is it. And that is simply personal preference and laziness on my part, not a shortcoming on the part of these measuring cups.They are amazing.

These are a little spending but worth it! Handles will not bend and flat so you can spoon or scoop and level off with ease. These will probably be the last ones I will ever need. They come with a ring (sturdy) to keep them all together. Just remove it when you want to use them.
