Terrible pencils, good instruction
I bought this set for myself as an adult because some of the reviews suggested it was a little more advanced. This is a fun kit, especially for people who don't have any art supplies to begin with. I really appreciate the instructional information and supplies. However, I hate the colored pencils! I have several colored pencil sets (from Prismacolor to Crayola), and these may be the worst that I own. I did want to try out these pencils, and now I know I won't buy a larger set I guess. Maybe younger kids wouldn't be able to tell the difference?
