Delta Carbona Carbona Biodegradable Oven Cleaner, 16.8 Fluid Ounce

i've been using carbona oven cleaner for years. It is safer to use that other toxic cleaners with offensive fumes. it cleans well, just allow some time to sit on the surfaces.

VERY impressed with the Carbon Oven Cleaner!! Actually does exactly what it is supposed to do. VERY easy to use - just spray it on, wait a few hours and wipe all the grime away. Side note - I applied it in the evening and let it set overnight. Could not believe how easy it was to wipe it all away the next morning. I will never go back to those stinky aerosol sprays again. Carbon Oven Cleaner is now on my permanent purchase list!! GREAT quality, perfect size , easy to spray, and worth every penny!! Thank you Carbona!!!

I sprayed this on my oven door and followed instructions, nothing came off. I tried it on my stove drip pans, nothing came off, I tried it on my grill, nothing came off, I tried it on the bottom of my pans, nothing came off. I threw the rest away.

I had mixed results and would give the product 3 1/2 stars, if that were an option. Do not be fooled. There are fumes, just not as strong as with traditional oven cleaner. The gel does stay in place, which I love. Most of the burnt-on grease wiped away easily, (as per instructions, I let it sit for 4 hours then used gloves, a sponge and a bucket of warm water). Some, however, acted as though it were completely immune to the cleaner. In particular, the top half of the oven window wiped clean, but the bottom half remained stuck like glue. Very strange. A second treatment did not help. Most of the debris on the inside walls and bottom came off, though. I was concerned about residual smells upon the first use after cleaning, but with a thorough wipe-down, experienced no problems. To sum up, I now have a much cleaner, though not entirely clean oven, and it was easy and less smelly.

Best oven cleaner. Works on a convection microwave. It’s the only thing that works on it. Scratch the stainless steel as long as you use the right sponge. Highly recommend recommended. Won’t scratch your glass on your oven doors either.

It had been a while since I cleaned my oven. More than a while. We were putting our house on the market, and I needed a clean oven. Ours is not self cleaning (it's IKEA and not at all old, modern stainless steel, 5 burner, gas) so I have to manually clean the racks and oven. The door especially needed cleaning, as we broil steak a couple times a week when we're unable to use the grill. My husband tried the cleaner out and told me it was junk. He didn't like it, and wanted to try a traditional one. I can't stand the smell of the high chemical stuff, so I gave this a go. I'm not sure if he didn't read the directions? Maybe he didn't shake it or use a scrubby sponge. Maybe he didn't rinse with warm/hot water. I don't know. Whatever he didn't do, it made a difference. I thought this stuff worked great! It barely smells, and I only left it on for somewhere between 4-10 minutes, depending on how thick the oil and grease buildup was. The Carbona did an excellent job of loosening the grease everywhere. I used a brilla pad for some of the heaviest parts, and a regular sponge, rough and soft side, for the rest. I put a little elbow into it, but if I hadn't let my oven go for so long (probably 6-8 months) this stuff would have done a much more efficient job. It's an oven cleaner, not a miracle worker. Overall very pleased. My oven looks awesome.

Oven needed a really good cleaning. I sprayed it on and left it for 2 hours and wiped 95% of the crud off. A very good product and no caustic fumes !
