Great light for what it is.
As a flashlight enthusiast, I usually cringe at those awful, cheap zoomies that are so popular with the general public. Zooming lights are traditionally awful. They lose a significant amount of light output due to the zooming mechanism, which also prohibits a light from being waterproof due to the nature of how it works. The cheap zoomies also have horrible artifacts in the beam, horrid blue tint, and do not use genuine CREE emitters.Lumintop, however, is a trusted brand in the enthusiast community, so I was interested to check out their take on the cheap zoomie. I was pleasantly surprised! The build quality is really good, but you will see where corners were cut to make this price (the first thing I noticed is that there was no grease on the threads and o-ring, and the 2600mAh battery is less than impressive). It uses a genuine emitter that produces a cool white, but not blue light. I do wish that it was a little brighter, but it’s perfectly sufficient for looking around the house/yard. The light, when zoomed out, is a very floody and smooth beam that is just one massive hotspot. When zoomed in, it tightens up and has a decent amount of throw, and no horrible emitter-shaped artifacts like you’d see in one of the cheaper lights. The UI is super simple to use, and I was able to teach it to my grandma and cousins in just minutes. There are only a few modes, but they are spaced out really well. The only thing I don’t like about the UI is that you have to hold the button to turn it off, which could confuse some people. The included battery is of good quality, albeit low capacity. It still has a decent run time that would be more than adequate for most tasks around the home. Charging it is very easy with the included USB cable. The button also continually flashes green to help you find it in the dark.Overall, this is a pretty no-frills light that’s made by an actual respectable flashlight manufacturer and is miles above the cheaper zoom lights you’ll find on here. This is a great price for the complete package, and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants a versatile, basic light for use around the home.

Excellent Mid-Size Light!
I have been a Lumintop customer for some time now and, given that this is my 5th Lumintop light, I suppose I am a collector of sorts. I was speaking with the company via Instagram messenger (as I do with many of my favorite brands) telling them I wish they made a light with a TIR optic lens when they informed me the Zoom 1 does, in fact, have a TIR optic lens. I jumped on it immediately, and have had the light for a few weeks now -- color me impressed!PROS:- LOW/MED/HIGH/TURBO are logically spaced, useful, and beautiful- User interface is great- Rechargeable via included micro USB cable -- awesome!- This is my first "zoomie" and I love the functionality! Between the four brightness settings and the zoom funtion there is an option for any situation. Very cool.- Fit/finish is excellent as I have come to expect from Lumintop -- looks and feels like a premium product!- Lit standby power button makes the light easy to locate in the dark, and a quick twist of the tailcap locks it outSO-SO's:- Would be nice if the power button remained lit while the flashlight was in use for easier location when wearing gloves to switch modes- Could use a little slider on the included lanyard, as it comes the lanyard loop is a bit large for me- I actually love the cool white beam, but I know some prefer higher CRI'sCONS:- Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this lightBOTTOM LINE:Buy this flashlight! I now have two and this will be my dedicated camping flashlight for my wife and I!

Very good bright light
This is a well constructed unit. Three different steady on light levels allow you to conserve battery life. The push button which turns on the light is illuminated whenever the light is off. This makes it easy to find and turn on in a dim or dark environment. My only complaints with this light are relatively minor, but still a little annoying. The indicator lights that show the light is charging never go out. Even after 15 hours of charging it's still blinking. The push button is not illuminated when the main light is on. This is a minor problem because the on/off button and the recharge port cover which are on opposite sides feel the same; I can't tell you how many times I tried turning the light off by pressing the recharge port cover (it's hard to see the button with the glare from the main light).3/17/2020A couple more comments after using the flashlight for a few weeks and why I reduced the rating from 5 to 3 stars....The rubber piece which covers the charging port has fallen out. I noticed a few times that I had to push it back in but it only took once for it to go missing. Usually one uses a flashlight in the dark and it's hard to find the missing part in the dark even with the flashlight. Also, the flashlight doesn't hold a charge as long as I hoped and the flashing green light doesn't give much warning before the light just shuts off.

Great flood/zoom light.
This has become my new favorite work carry light. This is a very functional light and has many great options. I have become a big fan of the zoom head since i have many different situations at work where i either need a flood light or a direct beam. Very user friendly light as well. All modes are easy to access, but are outlined in the user manual that is included in the box. The only thing this light needed is either a pocket clip or a holster. I have been carrying mine in a holster and it works great. Now i just want to say what's included in the box. Obviously the light itself, an 18650 battery which was in the light as was a type of plastic protector that has to be removed before light can operate, a lanyard and lanyard ring, two orings, usb charging cable, user manual, warranty card, and a thank you card. Very nicely presented. This light is very light and all somewhat compact for what it is. No tail cap button. All and all I'm really digging this light and plan to really put it thru its paces the next couple months.
