Fantastic sub for stock audio systems
This sub packs a punch. It adds great depth and bass for your casual listening. And don’t worry about bothering the neighbors, you can turn the subs volume down with the bass knob, but the bass is also contained within the vehicle. The car will shake and rattle but there’s other ways to fix that. Over all I LOVE this sub. Great for the price as well

Easy Install, Plenty of Bass for the Money
I installed this myself in my 2018 Camry XSE. I’m not an expert by any means but if you have any car audio knowledge, it’s a fairly easy install. I purchased a Rockford Fosgate 8 gauge amp kit (way better quality than the Boss garbage I had in my 07 Camry SE) and the Toyota Camry Add A Subwoofer Harness from Taco Tunes so I didn’t have to splice into any wires from the factory radio. Hardest part of the install was finding a ground to use. I ended up using one of the bolts that held the back seat to the actual car.You also don’t need a line out converter to connect it to the factory radio because the amp accepts high level input, and it doesn’t need a remote wire because it can automatically turn on when it detects audio from the RCAs. I also love the quick disconnects for if I need to take the enclosure out for more trunk space.I’m not an audiophile at all but I wanted to add some more bass to the stock sound system. I listen primarily to hip hop/rap and for one 12” it hits pretty hard. With the bass knob turned halfway up, it vibrates the entire car and from the outside you can hear the trunk rattling. Coming from two 12”s in my previous Camry which was a little too much for me, I think this is the perfect amount of bass added.

Punch 👊 three decades removed
This is worthy of the punch name. Takes me back to my old bronco with a ridiculous bandpass wasting gas all the summers of my youth. Easy install in the civic hatch fits like a glove. 8 GA is plenty for this, but I'm having trouble believing it. I've watched for my lights to dim but no issues. My rear view mirror is loosened and pointing down in less than a week. I have sound deadening everywhere and a fancy line out converter, which definitely help with modern signal problems. If you get a good signal to this box you won't be disappointed. Like other reviewers, I have my gain set at 0, xover at 55 hz, and never more than 50% bass boost. Class d really makes a difference over my old AB stuff, civic has tiny battery and alternator but can run this and more. I installed everything myself in an afternoon and have had no issues. I hooked it up the old school way, remote wire off the accessory fuse. I use remote wire for everything. Cant speak to any of the auto turn on features. My wife has come to get me late out of the garage three times this week. I just can't stop listening. So happy we still have Rockford. Fanatic for life. Now on to components and an ear destroying amp.

Good product and great seller
The first unit I received had a fluttering noise coming from the sub. The seller called me the next day after being told. He was a great guy and took care of me. I ordered another from the same seller and this one is fine. No it’s not a beat the block down sub but sq is good

Great sound and bass for the size and price!!
I have this installed in a 2006 Scion xB and I'm thrilled with it!! I upgraded the head unit to a JVC V85-BT, Rockford Fosgate and Pioneer coaxial speakers front and rear respectively. OMG!! This combination sounds amazing...loud, crystal clear and distortion free! Now the details: The P500 12P looks amazing. The box is sturdy and heavy. I don't have it strapped down and it doesn't slide around. The texture on the outside is attractive and practical. It plays very loud and clean, with kick bass being very "punchy." The volume knob is nice and smooth. I have big, high power systems in some of my other rides, but this may be one of my favorite sub boxes ever. It doesn't play super low, but it has it's sweet spots, like any other ported box does. For the size of this box, ease of installation, along with Rockford amplification, you absolutely cannot go wrong for the price!! Play and loud all day long and enjoy, you won't want to leave your ride!!

Put the boom in my son's jeep!
This sounds great in my son's jeep. He wasn't even excited about it for Christmas until he heard it now all his friends want one. Plenty of boom just like my old system but all in one bundle!!!!!

Value Value Value
Wanna piss off your neighbors? Still like to leave a little eardrum for later? This maybe the product for you. Plenty of power at 500w rms to push the air around my Denali, yet not over the top redonkulous like being front row at a concert. Love the gain knob , mounted near my knee. Kids in the back twist a knob lower it down . Drop em off at the sitters and boom boom boom on the way to work . This 12 hits harder than my girls 2 12's. It's big enough to know you got power yet small enough to load the groceries. It's a good trade off for us middle agers recapturing the enormous bass of our youth yet sensible enough to still parent properly. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Hits hard
I have it under the seat of my 2012 f150 crewcab. Powered by a kenwood head unit and 6x8 4 way pioneer speakers. This sub sounds great and hits hard at low, mid, and high volume. But if you're looking for something to flex the body panels of your car and be heard loud outside the vehicle this ain't it. It dosen't have enough power and woofer excursion to produce competition quality sound and volume. And that's not what it's expected to do. For a all in one quality answer to great powerful bass it's definitely a great buy. However I'm looking for somthing louder and deeper bass so I'll be upgrading to a set of 8" Sundown subs in a larger ported box powered by a 1200 watt Skar amp
