Malem Enuresis Alarms have been designed to maximise success in the treatment of bedwetting as well as provide a safe, efficient and permanent cure. The aim of the alarm is to train the user's brain, through repetitive awakening, to exert automatic control over the bladder. The MO6 Ultimate Choice Bedside Alarm is ergonically designed, smart and colourful. The user can select from three alarm sound options: record own personal message, a choice of any eight loud single sounds or random eight sounds to prevent 'auditory accomodation.' Each alarm comes with a reliable, rust-proof, embossed and comfortable plastic Bed-Mat (54x42cm). The Bed-Mat fits between the sheet and the mattress and can be easily cleaned and dried. The Ultimate Choice Bedside Alarm is connected to the Bed-Mat via a slim wire (2.2m) which does not disturb the user in bed. How to use the Bed-Wetting Alarm 1. Place the rust-proof plastic Bed-Mat between the sheet and mattress 2. Connect the Bed-Mat to the alarm via

Waste of money
We've been using this alarm for 5 days and all we've gotten are false alarms, produced either by sweat or movement. We tried setting the sensitivity sensor to "low," we put 2 (and then 3) towels on top of the pad, and it would still go off on its own.So we called the seller to return the product only to find out that there is a 25% restocking fee ($45.00) plus we have to pay for the shipping costs they incured when sending us the product (about $20?) AND the shipping costs to send the item to them. And once they get it, they warned us, they will run tests on it and it's possible that they will not accept it.This is definitely not the easy return policy that we are used to when dealing with amazon.A complete waste of $180 dollars. So disappointing.

Worked for us!
We got this bedwetting alarm pad for our daughter, who is autistic and developmentally delayed, because she had started wetting in bed and going back to sleep. We didn't get a remote alarm since we have a baby monitor in her room (so we hear the alarm via the baby monitor) and our goal was to have her wake up if she got wet. It has worked very well and contributed to her being dry at night now for over 4 months (not quite ready to take it out of the bed yet!). She even got up in the night to go to the bathroom recently. We were careful to put the pad in a cotton pillowcase, then put a thin cotton blanket over it (to reduce the noise the pad makes when she moves around in bed), then use cotton sheets. The only false alarms we have gotten are when she leaps into bed onto it - occasionally it will go off then. However, we have never had false alarms during the night. The pad makes soft crinkly sounds when she moves around in bed (especially when first getting into bed), but the sound hasn't bothered her (and we put a thin cotton blanket over it to reduce the sound). It has been a great investment for us!

Not completely satisfied with the product...
We ordered two (2) of the "pee-pads"...they are very sensitive and sometimes the alarm goes off with body temperature and/or sweat. There is NO reset button on the alarm and therefore it continues to sound-off until the pad is wiped dry. I had hoped it would have fixed the wetting problem in much less time, but it is still going on. Any suggestions?

Goes off when my son sweats
The product does not work well. It is a waste of money. It goes off when my son is sleeping and the bed is dry! I assume it is going off because my son is sweating. The first time it arrived, the product was broken. Customer service was wonderful. I just wish the replacement worked half as well as the advertisement.

There are better options.
The mat moves around, and if your child sleeps on his or her back, it takes a while for moisture to reach the mat. The delay prevents the association between the alarm and urination. I ended up buying the alarm that clips to the outside of the underpants, and it was effective in less than a week.

Substandard product from a technically challenged company.
This substandard product has such weak wire connectors that they both broke the very first night my daughter used it and she is a tiny little 6 year old. After much frustration I realized that the company doesn't show the wire connectors to the sensor because THEY BREAK.According to the company's customer service department, if I wanted a replacement, I had to pay a 25% restocking fee and $20 shipping. HIGHWAY ROBBERY. I was hoping my replacement would work, but alas... the wires broke again. I even used tape to keep them in position but no luck. It's worse than one can expect. The mats are useless. I can't believe they still use telephone plugs which break in days. MALEM YOUR TECHNOLOGY SUCKS. The only thing it is good at is giving families less hope that their angel can get cured.I have never been this angry on a company or product. Nothing is right here. Neither the product nor the customer service. DON'T BUY THE MALEM MAT.

Worked for us
This is a great device! And we have had no more accidents at night! For us, we used our own voice as the alarm, so it would wake our son up at night. I would highly recommend this!

Great success with this alarm
We needed a product that did not need to be worn by our child to alert them that they were wetting. We liked that the alarm could be programmed to not only make different sounds, but it has a way to make your own recordings. We decided against the loud manufactured tones and tried a few that we recorded on our own. We were happy that we had this option. You can adjust the volume easily so that could be adjusted, too.We didn't have any problem with the pad sensing moisture and NOT sensing sweat. It took a few trials the first couple of nights to make sure that the layers of sheets on top of the pad were just right. If you only use one thin layer, the plastic pad is not comfortable to sleep on and since it is plastic, will cause sweating. I presume that is the problem that the others comment about. We found if you use a draw sheet (one sheet folded in half) on top of the pad, that it was just right. Sensed urine when it needed to and was comfortable. If you want an alarm that sits on the bed, this is a great product.

Item defective - stopped working after only a few weeks
Worked like a dream for 3 weeks. Now the alarm doesn’t sound even if you pour a glass of water directly on it. Item cared for perfectly - issue is that it is defective. Will pursue seller for a refund.

Not great!
The bed mat is very small. I really wanted dry nights for my daughter but was shocked that this is worth £150. Hopefully it will be but so far has been disappointing.

alarm review
the alarm is working very well and is doing what it was bought for. Jack is waking up and going to toilet and we are already getting dry beds.
