I really hemmed and hawed over this, torturing myself with reading the reviews and going through all the 1's, ignoring all the 5's. The edging is feathery, some of it going to come off, it just is. If you don't want it to come off, order something with fur. I was concerned the flow of the gown wouldn't work the way it was pictured, which is what I really wanted and it did. I bought this robe for a photoshoot and I'm QUITE pleased with the results. This robe did not disappoint and I did all that worrying for nothing.

I have been agonizing over getting one of these feather robes for a year. I literally researched dozens of stores and websites over the last few months to try and make sure I could find a quality item for the look I was planning for my 40th birthday photos. Price and quality were extremely important to me, as I'm sure they are for you. This is a substantial amount of money for this robe and there are a LOT of other places online selling these robes for double and triple the amount--except--they have no verified reviews or pictures from customers, regular people like all of us, like they do here on Amazon. I even spent a couple of hours one evening reading all of the reviews for this item. I was still extremely weary but with everything I previously researched, this store here on Amazon was my safest choice. I was still afraid of the price point and the possible risk, but just like I read in so many of the other reviews someone immediately contacted me once I placed the order asking me for measurements and giving me the option to add extra feathers onto the robe for an extra charge(which I declined). But them contacting me and answering all my questions about shipping time, etc. made me feel better. As you can see from the photos: this robe was EVERYTHING I expected it to be. My whole personality changed once I put this on! If you are looking for one of these types of robes, this store is gonna be your best bet. Thank you for helping to make my 40th birthday the best!

Purchased last minute on a whim for my maternity pics and I was impressed! Great quality and you can use for so many occasions. Only down side was I paid a fortune to ship and it comes from China so order ahead.

This robe is a dream. It looks exactly like the pictures and I had no problems with it’s quality. There was some shedding of feathers, but I know that was to be expected. I got compliments from everyone I saw and talked to. I’m seriously going to wear this around my house, haha. Also, the customer service was incredible. I messaged the company asking if there was any possible way they could expedite my order for it to make it to me in time for my Halloween party. The original shipping time was two weeks and they got it to me six days, so I had two days to spare before the party to pull together the rest of my costume. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Definitely recommend. You will feel so ethereal and sultry.

I was very hesitant to purchase this because I thought it would not come in time. when you look at the delivery time on Amazon it take 2 months to deliver. I spoke to the seller and they told me that I could order it and it would come in time. I ordered it on June 7 2020 with corona going on and everything I still received it on June 17 2020. I did have to pay $35 extra for shipping though. So I was very happy with that part. The seller is good with communication and emails you asking for measurements to make sure it’s made just for you. I got the robe today and it is indeed beautiful the red is very vibrant. The only problem that I have is the arm part is a little tight and it started shedding as I expected not a lot though just a little bit like 3 4 hairs. I plan on wearing in July I will update my review with a picture when I wear it.

I really don't want you to go through the same ordeal I had to, so please save yourself the hassle and buy from someone else.TLDR: the quality sucks and its a nightmare to get your money backI bought one robe a few years ago and it was great. I bought a second one a few months back and it was awful. Bad quality, bad customer service, bad all around.Quality: Gross is the best word I can use to describe it. It's not a soft flowy material like in the pictures, its stiff tule. Think mosquito netting. It's bad. The construction looked awful and the boas were super cheap and thin. I was majorly disappointed.Service: I would love to give them credit for at least emailing me back, but that's it. They say they offer free returns, they don't. You are expected to pack and ship your return which is no big deal, but like don't say you offer free returns with free shipping if you're going to make me pay for shipping.When I contacted them to return it they offered me $25 to keep it and give it to a friend then when I said I wanted to return it things got complicated. I packed the order and shipped it (with tracking). When they received it they told me they were refunding me but I never got the refund. I told them they needed to include the cost of shipping since they explicitly said it was free.They did refund the shipping, but that's all I got. $10 back on a $120 purchase. I had amazon look into it and I guess when they sent me the shipping refund they canceled my purchase refund and then couldn't correct it for some reason? No one reached out to me.I ended up making 5 separate calls to amazon after the fact of trying to get my refund. The company never reached out. I did end up getting my refund from Amazon a-z guarantee rather than the company. It took over a month once the return was received to actually get my money back.As you can see from my original review I was happy with the first one I bought a few years back, but the quality has gone down the gutter. I would never give this to someone. I ended up finding a different one here on amazon that really blew me away. It's the satin one if you're looking for something better than this.If you still want to try, good luck. I highly recommend looking the other way. As I said, I got this for a friend so I went back and forth on the measurements and they were very helpful and understanding. And on top of my indecisiveness on sizing it still got there so fast!!!I totally recommend it, what a show-stopper!
