I absolutely love this hair tool. It comes with a larger and a smaller interchangeable heating rod.I have short hair and the larger one does most of the drying and the smaller one is for the shorter sections and touch up.The quality is great ( at least so far), curling works just fine, and it dries my hair fast.I also like the bristles on both rods. They grab my hair just fine.One of the best qualities about this is that I don’t need 2 styling dryers but only one because it has 2 rods.I really enjoy it so far.

My hairstylist suggested that I try a hot air brush at my recent hair cut. Of course I fell in love with the Conair brush that auto rotates, but at over $60, I just couldn’t afford it. I found this brush at a much more reasonable price and decided to give it a try. It works well, dries my hair quickly and works exactly as described. No auto rotation but I’m okay to use my wrist to twist and move it through my hair. If you have issues with your wrists/hands then this might not work for you. I only need to use the low setting because the high really is HOT so experiment first and be safe. The large and small brushes both work for my short hair - although I like the small one best right now but as my hair grows the bigger one will be perfect. I do like the directional attachment to use separately with your own hair brush but right now it defeats the purpose of “all in one”. The attachments were a little stiff to change in the beginning but after working with it a couple of days they twist and click in place with no worries. I deducted one star because the attachments do get really hot (at the base where it attaches to the barrel) while you’re using them, so changing from one to another will take a little time to allow it to cool before you do so. All in all, a great product and I’m really thrilled with it.

The soft brush is unusable, not capable of combing any hair. The hard brush is great though, maybe too stiff but gets the job done. It is definitely much easy to style. The switch is to flimsy and keeps sliding to high when handled. Product is just ok, cost cutting must’ve got into the way..

First let me say I have straight hair so use a brush dryer to smooth out my hair and give a little curl at the end. I'm not trying to create big curls.I've used brush dryers for years. I think this is my third or fourth one. I just bought the Conair BC171 to replace a similar (non Ionic) version that has been a workhorse for years. I think I had my other one at least 5 years - maybe longer. It's still working but the bristles have seen better days. After years of very faithful service, it needed replacing.When I knew i had to replace my old one, I first bought another Conair at Target. But it had NO POWER. It was about like having someone blow on your hair. I returned it. Then, I bought a similar looking Revlon dryer. But it allows most of the hot air to blow out at the bottom of the brush attachment with very little air to actually style/dry your hair. Then the attachment quit staying in place and would come out in my hand. So, another brush dryer returned.At this point, I'm seriously hoping I can find a Conair like the one I had. Searched Amazon and boom - there it is. I'm so thrilled. This one is just the right size barrel - it allows you to kinda grab your hair and style it. It has plenty of power to get the job done. And I really like the combo plastic and bristle brush attachment. For me, it works the best.I'm not big on leaving loooong product reviews but i figure there are other women out there frustrated just like I was.UPDATING MY REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!I stand by my review above for the OLD version of this brush dryer. That one is still running - sounds like it has a furball but still running just fine.I bought the new version and it seemed just fine. I went on business travel and packed my Conair brush dryer. Well, a TSA agent took it apart to search for drugs I guess, and it broke. The brush part no longer held in place. I was so angry - &*(^%#$ TSA - ripping it in half!!!!So, I ordered 2 more - an extra one just in case of another bad TSA agent. One day I'm drying my hair, and the plastic makes a popping sound - brush part will no longer stay in place. Whaaatt????? Yep - just broke. So, I open my third one. It breaks in the same spot as the other two - right next to the on/off button. I might have used it a few months. Sweet merciful CRAP!Hey Conair - don't fix it if it ain't broke!!!!!!!

Love that this has the hair dryer attachment with it. Both brushes are great too. Easy to operate. I have a shorter haircut now and can do any and all styling on the low heat setting which is so much better for the health of my hair. I would highly recommend this product.

I like the versatility of this brush and convenience of changing the tools. It curls and dries my hair well but I let it dry partially before styling
