Lasted about 2 days with my African Grey most toys last about a month normally before its destroyed

The four stars are from Leonard (the African Grey), because *he* loved it. As a matter of fact, he loved it so much that he totally demolished it (and we're talking *totally*) here. Totally!. General Sherman left more remaining in Georgia than Leonard did of this toy.Leonard actually voted five stars because it was so much fun. For him, anyway. I am not under any circumstances, however, going to give a toy at this price five stars when Leonard can make it disappear *within three days*! It's getting four *only* because I bought it for him, after all, and it's his choice regarding how long it lasts. Personally, I wanted to give it one or two at best.If you have a small hookbill who doesn't decimate large toys within under 72 hours, this is obviously extremely attractive to birds and probably not to be considered too expensive. But if you own a feathered Godzilla, look elsewhere.

This turned out to be a good toy for my 23 year old African Grey, who is on the small side. She can hang from it and chew as much as she wants. Arrived in good condition and is very substantial. Will order it again!!

The Bird toy was supposed to be 23.6 inches; however, the one I received was only 14 1/2 inches.The plastic bag it was in also said 23.6 inches.

I love this. We have an African Grey who can destroy anything. Toy buying get expensive. This is large enough and the pieces are large enough he can work on it for awhile without tearing it up in a few days. Also I like that it’s strung on a chain so he can’t de string the top and have it fall apart. This is a quality top that our bird enjoys.

My Grey hasn't chewed on one solitary piece of wood on this toy, but she has spent many hours seeking out the tiny little links to the chains and biting them in half making all the wooden slats and balls fall off. She doesn't then pick those up and play with them nor chew on them; she goes looking for another chain link to chew through! She has dismantled more than half of this toy by breaking the links, but has hasn't played one bit with the wood parts! I'm going to buy some craft leather strips to put the pieces back together. Hopefully she won't chew through the leather, but if she does... well, it's keeping her active and that was the purpose of the toy! Only downside is that I've been worried about her swallowing some of the broken links. I've collected so many of them that, so far, I don't think she has.
