Loving Pets Pure Buffalo Lung Steaks Dog Treat, 8 -Ounce

I have a Blue Nose Pit with a real bad chewing habit. If she's left alone nothing around the house will survive. Found this at my local pet shop and since they've discontinued selling this item I found it here. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime. She absolutely loves this thing and can't be without and takes it where ever she goes. She'll spend hours chewing this thing and it will even last for days sometimes weeks chewing and tossing it around the house like a rag doll. The smell isn't all that great but I'll deal with it rather than having chewed up shoes or blankets.... yes, blankets. Chew toys don't last her not even 5 min and they're ripped to shreds. The hid and marrow softens up the longer she chews on that section. She has no trouble digesting it as I've seen pieces of it in her stool. After breakfast and dinner shes back at it with this bone. Her teeth are sparkling white and clean with no sign of tar or plaque. This may not be suitable for your dog but it's definitely suitable for mine.

My dog really loves this product. We've purchased it multiple times and it has been the same each time. Our dog is small, about 10 pounds, so we're able to break the pieces in half to give her treats.

My dogs LOVE these treats!! They are perfect size for my 2 big dogs ( Cane Corsos). If they could they would eat the whole bag the day it gets delivered to the house. Worth the money.

My cat is a 16 week, 6.6 lbs Bengal/Main Coon mix. I own no dogs, just a dog-like cat and was looking for something to satisfy my cats chewing habits and teething needs. He is in love with these treats and massages his gums. They meet his needs and ours. The treats have a consistency of a crunchy/spongy feel and look. There are Parts that are harder, while the inside is spongy. My cat, Mr. Biggles can chew comfortably without over stretching his jaw, but you can break them up easily. It does not have to be given to "only" large dogs. I do allow him to chew on raw hide bones, but this is better on a daily basis. Rawhide can cause gas and other intestinal issue if chewed on a regular basis. However, the buffalo lung as caused no intestinal issue or gas. As many people stated, they really do stink, but my cats breath doesn't stink after he has been chewing on them. At this stage, I do not brush my cats teeth, as he has yet to get his adult cat teeth in. There are a multitude of reason for bad breath, and this product was not one for us. I recommend allowing your pet to chew on the treat where you have an easy to clean surface. Then you should be fine, as the spongy part can crumble. Our kitten Mr. Biggles likes this as he can lick it up in between chews, some dogs may by pass it and leave a crumble mess. So this is why I gave it 4 stars. But it is good for them and a healthy snack since it has less fat and is leaner. I included a picture of our kitten, to help give a visual of his tiny disposition. Hopefully, this will help other consumers see the benefits for their kittens, not just large dogs. I didn't not include the picture of the product, as the the sites picture is accurate. This product is a great product. But I ordered a subscription and it got messed up I was suppose to get my first order 1 week ago and now it tells me its coming in tomorrow. Why is the subscription method so behind and should I not subscribe for this product anymore?

I've given my dogs dehydrated lung products for many years. This one had such a strong vinegar smell to it I discontinued using it and threw it away. I've understand these products can smell but not like this.

I always buy this product for my dog because she loves it.But the last two times I’ve purchased these. They have beenVery fatty. So I will stop buying now as my dog doesn’tLike the fatty pieces. I would say the strips are about40% Fat.

My very first dog I had loved these. It was a different brand in a store. They recalled it and have not seen them. Found this brand on Amazon, bought it for my next dog, and then my foster. They love it. It is crunchy, I do break it in half. All my dogs are big too. Just to make it easier I broke it and to make it last longer. The pieces are big. They kind of melt in the mouth being it is dehydrated. Good quality and like how it is USA made. I only buy USA products. Great hit for dogs, especially bigger dogs and bullies.
