This tastes incredible. It’s velvety smooth and has undertones of flower and a tangy after taste. It’s so rich and delicious and is loaded with health benefits. It’s also incredible how it’s harvested. I only wish it was this price for a bigger size. But it arrived very securely packed thankfully and did not show up damaged like the other reviews. That was the only real reason I was hesitant to purchase but it is incredible and exceeded my expectations! I adore this stuff.

I have purchased TUALANG honey in the past from a different brand in Indonesia. The Indonesian version was simply divine. This particular brand does not taste like TUALANG honey. I understand it comes from a different tree source (I understand these can collect from different trees and bushes along the way before they head back to the hive so each honey will taste different) Overall I just did not care for this honey. I consider myself a honey aficionado and I have in into the last 10 years! This particular honey tasted rather burnt to me. Perhaps you will love it. When experiencing different honeys from across the world, you really have to taste them and decide what is right for you. It was very expensive for the small jar that I received. Give it a try perhaps you will love it.

The story with Tualang honey is that it is harvested by climbing 200 feet up into the trees of Indonesia. As if that wasn't dangerous enough, there waiting for the brave harvesters is the largest species of bee in the world and they don't exactly roll out the welcome mat for visitors. If you're a honey enthusiast this is a must-try but you're paying roughly $20 for 4 teaspoons. Taste wise, it is awesome and unique.

This is some very unique tasting honey and the possible health benefits are a bonus for anyone who has diabetes

Glass was broken and they won't let you return this item for a new one. Ridiculous considering how much you pay for such a small amount. Don't waste your money like I did!
