I enjoyed this book very much. If women can fully appreciate that many a man (secretly or not) desires for the Lady and Love of his life to take control, there would be a lot fewer divorces in Western society.The ideas and numerous suggestions are intended for beginners as clearly indicated; they serve as encouragement for those couples that have the willing curiosity to test-drive the FLR lifestyle to see if it works for them. In regards, make no mistake: spanking is highest on the list of kinks for men who wish to be submissive to their mate. For the ladies, it can be a thrill to take your man in hand and pull his pants down for a good, old-fashioned spanking over your knee. Other positions and punishments only add to the fun. Her point is to promote love, respect, and absolute commitment by wife and husband to each other. This sets her far above her peer authors, some of whom promote horrid notions (by a married couple or any old twosome---whoever) that deserve no mention. To the contrary, Ms. Lawson's writing is wholesome and clean, rich in content yet brief, witty, tantalizing at times, and a pleasure to read, start to finish. Just in measure of value for money, it's a treasure!If Ms. Lawson intended The Good Wife's Guide primarily for younger wives, still it makes a great how-to guide for her, him, or both, no matter their ages. Indeed, the book could be most beneficial to older couples who have never considered femdom to enrich their marriage, or have been repelled from it by unworthy books. Buy and read this one, then! Next you ought to buy Ms. Lawson's Dominatrix 101 & 201. Much of it will be familiar, but you'll find several new stories and surprises!

Pros: this book meets its goal of educating unfamiliar wives on a FLR lifestyle & the explanations behind husbands' desires. It achieves it purpose.Cons: The intended audience is a bit narrow, & there is a bit too much distance drawn between traditional bdsm & domination. This is the definition of power exchange & principles that she includes are important in BDSM. I take issue with the highly aubjectice comments inrended to distance this lifestyle from BDSM. I also think the author needs to learn a bit more about BDSM as her assertion that chastity is not usually accompanied by teasing is off by a landslide.Overall I would recommend to a member of the target audience.

I've read the blurbs for various manuals, but was disturbed by the topic of cuckolding. I was perturbed by the lack of any moral sense when talking about it. Some men can't handle the emotional stress. I'm one of them, and I don't want to ruin my marriage. Neither my wife or I want to be unfaithful. I read one review that mentioned that Rebecca only talks about DD within a marriage. Cuckolding doesn't come up. The reviewer also praised Rebecca's quality of work, addressing the concerns in a general way. I knew this was a book that my wife would be comfortable with, and I'm comfortable giving it to her. She's also reading Dominatrix 101 & 201.

This book wasn't insightful at all. Maybe for beginners but i felt as though i could have saved my money.

First time reader I stumbled on to this book. It will open new doors for us, as we learn to play. I like the putting these things into your everyday life approach. Much more than I knew about ! More to follow ... I'm sure !

This is a great read for someone who doesn't know how to start a Female Led Relationship and wants some basic knowledge.
