Bought to start replacing disposable plastic bags, especially for marinades and dredging things in flour. Works very well for both. Completely leak proof if fully closed (I turned a bag with brine and a whole chicken completely upside down for a full minute, and it didn't leak at all). So far none of the marinade flavors have been absorbed by the bags. A bit tough to get the sealing stick on the bag, but it does slide on with a bit of patience and muscle. They're floppy and a bit difficult to invert, which is normal for silicone, but makes them a bit of a nuisance to wash and dry.When you first get the bags, they're sealed pretty tightly shut, and you need to sort of peel them open. You only have to do this once. One bag was a dud (tore at the bottom when I tried to peel it open; there was a bit that was actually fused together where it shouldn't have been). I chock this up to random chance in the quality control process, since the other three opened just fine, but it was still rather disappointing. The other three are plenty durable, though.Overall, a worthwhile purchase.

These are heavy duty, thick silicone bags, I was surprised by how strong and sturdy they are. They zip shut with a thick plastic bar that slides along grooves at the top of the bag. The bags and slides are marked with big arrows to show the direction for opening and closing. Each bag expands at the bottom for the “stand and fill” function but fold flat nicely as well. They wash easily and are reusable. In two different sizes, the smaller bag holds 4 cups and the large holds 6 cups. Markings in cups, ml and fl oz are clearly marked on the bags.I have used these for hot and cold food and seen great success. They refrigerate well and do not leak when sideways if liquids are inside. I have been impressed by all they hold and stand up to and I love that I can reuse them instead of toss them after one use! While they do take up more room than a box of thin store bought zipper bags, and the cost is definitely more, the longevity, durability and versatility makes me want to buy more.

My initial thoughts when opening the package is the product appears to be very heavy duty. The silicone bags seem like a product that will last. I started opening each of the bags, the green one was very hard to open and close. The only downside of this product is the plastic sliders used to open and close the bag, they are difficult to use. However, they do make a tight seal so no need to worry about the product leaking out of the bag. The bags do have measurements cups, Fl oz, and ml on the bags which is helpful. The silicone bags are a great replacement for traditional plastic baggies. They are super easy to clean being they are dishwasher safe.

The media could not be loaded.  These resealable silicone bags are fantastic! I am so happy I purchased them. They are of excellent quality. They are durable, sturdy and can hold various foods and liquids. I can use the silicone bags to store soups, veggies, and fruits as well as all my extra leftovers from dinner. Since using them, I have not had any messes in my refrigerator and no more looking for the tops of my containers. I love that you can see inside the silicone bags so that food is easy to find later. I also love that there is a measuring guideline on the front of each of the silicone bags. The bags are easy to clean and can be boiled and microwaved as well. The bags have easy locking bars on the top that are airtight and keep your food fresh for longer. I love that I was able to not only stand the bags but also lay them on their side and the contents will still not leak.

Definitely keeps food fresh, and the bag does not absorb the smell of the food.Only minus is the sliding lock, which is hard to use, so I just use large plastic clips to secure them, and it's still fine.Have bought more of these.

These bags are definitely heavy duty. They are thick and I am confident they would not leak if you put liquids in there. My issue is that these bags were very hard to open and close. There is a clip that you need to slide over the top to keep it closed and I had a very hard time with it. I had bought the smaller ones for my kids to use for school and they would not be able to manage this themselves.

I found the way to clean bags is to turn them inside out, but they worked good

I just got these and wanted to rinse them before first use. They are VERY HARD TO OPEN. I was shocked that one of them tore just from trying to open it, never used; I'm not sure if it was even openable (maybe they should initially be powdered inside just for starters?- the vacuum seal is way too intense). Everything else about them seems nice so far...
