Presto 01784 23-Quart Induction Compatible Pressure Canner, Silver, Aluminum

Very sturdy and easy to use. I was a little nervous but I got it on the first try. Heating is easy and perfect to keep pressure. YouTube has videos on using it if you need help. You want the rocker to keep a soft ricking rhythm but not be going too fast.

After going from an electric to an induction stovetop (LOVE IT), my old canner had to be retired for a canner that was induction compatible. This Presto 23 quart was the only induction compatible canner I could find. It worked perfectly on my stovetop and holds 7 quart sized mason jars. I did purchase two canner plates separately because when I am canning with pints and half-pints, I can stack two levels of jars in the canner, allowing me to preserve up to twenty jars at once. I also like that the canner lid has an arrow that you match up with an arrow on the canner rim and then turn clockwise to a tight seal. My old canner was a pain to get the lid and the bottom on right. The canner comes with a pressure guage and a 15 lb pressure weight that will wobble during the canning process, letting you know that the pressure is building. It also acts as a safety and will pop off to release pressure if the canner exceeds the maximum pressure (and mine never has). With the large capacity, the safety features, the induction capability, and the ease of locking the lid tightly into place, I am really liking this product.

The canner is awesome! Works great with my induction stove but…,, it came with NO tools! I have bought several canners in my life and they all came with a funnel and tongs. I got bone broth in jars and ready for canning. Opened the new canner and surprise- no tools!! 8:5 at night I racing through the night trying to find one! Three stores later, got it!! 10:02 back home finishing canning!** I admit, I should have checked what was inside the box

This pressure canner is easy to use, easy to maintain, and it has a large capacity. I have not used a pressure canner before, but I am very pleased I started off with this one. I have an induction stove and this pressure canner performs excellently. I recommend it.

Beautiful canner!! so easy to use. The booklet that comes with it is incredibly helpful if you have never can before. I have only done water bath canning in the past so this is the first time I’ve used a pressure canner and it was very easy. It was very securely packaged. I followed the directions and had my pressure gauge checked before using to make sure that it was accurate and it was. I am enjoying it very much!

Very good quality canner. Took gauge to my county extension office before 1st use and it was registering +3 lbs. Notified Presto, they immediately replaced as a one time courtesy. The 3 piece weight sold by presto which is part no. #50332 works well with this model also.
