RIESEN Chewy Chocolate Caramels, Dark Chocolate 5.5 oz(pack of 4)

Riesens have been around for a long time. They are decadent rich caramel-covered dark chocolate bites. My sister hipped me to them many moons ago. They are so good. I prefer dark chocolate for the health benefits but it is also less likely to mottle my skin. They also taste amazing if you stick them in the freezer! So good and the amount you get, is a fair amount for the price. It beats traipsing to the store and maybe finding out that they are sold out! I have some bags in the freezer right now! Yum!

Recieved in the mail quickly, however EVERY bag the chocolates were turned white/light (fat bloom) from being stored incorrectly. Not satisfied at all! Very sad! I was truly disappointed!!!

I ordered 3 bags of the Riesen candy that generally has a tootsie toll consistently. But then the ones I received look old and have chocolate falling off, chalky look, All of the bags are the same even though they are dated best before 3 months from now. Another reviewer had similar comments. I'm concerned that they might not be safe to eat. I will try to return them.

I love these Riesen candies. I also love 1-day delivery. I’d seen the warning reviews but took a chance. They couldn’t all be bad, right? Sadly, every package contained only old, hard, gray lumps. Lesson learned.
