I like that this brand offers an organic line, I wish they offered a multi-size pack though.These don’t work as well as their original ones, and don’t seem to expand and absorb as well which seems silly since I would expect organic cotton (at least when I’ve used organic cotton facial rounds for example) to be softer and more easily absorbent.I also don’t like that they were still individually wrapped in thin plastic. It would be nice for them to be more eco-friendly and at least be wrapped in recycled thin paper (like other tampons).For people who aren’t familiar with using non-applicator tampons, they do take some getting used to but overall are SO much better for the environment!I purchased a re-usable tampon applicator from a Kickstarter (DAME brand, from the UK) which gives me the flexibility of having an applicator without the waste, and not as messy as the cleanup you’d have with a menstrual cup. I do prefer menstrual cups, but since getting as IUD I can no longer use them.I’m trying out the Organyx no applicator tampons next, as they have regular and super absorbency ones and will see how that goes!

How does one rate a tampon? Hmm... I suppose it’s important to first describe expectations. Every woman is different and none of us experience it the same. I had an endometrial ablation 10 years ago and have very easy and low flow. So, for me, it’s a matter of safety (fewer chemicals) and cost. These are just as effective as the non-organic OBs (which I’ve always used). I wish I’d known about an organic version long ago. They are effective and you should get them.

Not sure I want to write a review. Take them to war and use them for a gun shot wound to stop the bleeding. Or have a month period... they stop you from bleeding all over. The design of these puff out and not oblong equals better protection then most.

My aunt introduced me to OB, and although it took me a minute to get used to the idea of OB, now that I have I would NEVER go back. I’m an OB fan for life — for the quality of the product, the ease of use, and very importantly, the way it eliminates so much wasteful plastic used in normal tampon applicators. The fact that this company is eco friendly is a huge factor for me.

Love OBHATED these. IMPOSSIBLE to unwrap. Even with scissors. I’d love to send the other two boxes back to the (I’m sure male president) of OB and make him try to unwrap them. And it’s impossible to find regular ones anywhere. They all in the male bathrooms. Thanks a lot .

Took one star off because individual tampons are very hard to open.

Great comfort with zero leaks. I’ve been a fan of OB for years. They never leak and are great even when running. The applicator free design is good for the environment and new organic line is good for you. Though thats not the main reasons I buy OB. I buy them because they provide great protection.

I've always been a fan of OB tampons, especially now that they have full cotton products. These work great and make me feel better about plastic waste since they don't have the applicators. Easy to store pretty much anywhere- even that tiny pocket in jeans!
