Nice photo backdrop
Nice quality paper. We have a lot of products with a white border and this helps them stand out vs a white background. It does not reflect a color shift as much as the green backdrop so this is what we are switching too.

Niiiiice...
Only 4 stars because of the width. Good for one person maybe 2....Other than that no complaints. Bought it awhile ago and still using it...Updated to 5 star. Good sturdy paper. Comes in handy for my portrait shots. Nice grey tone. I use mines on a roller system. At the bottom of the paper I stapled some wood stake like sticks going across to give the paper some weight when rolling down. I found it difficult to use with a roller system. hard to keep the paper from unraveling. Store it flat or upright. Do not keep on rolling system, will warp. I like seamless paper. Better than muslin. This here does the trick. Bought awhile ago and still have plenty left.

Perfect thickness!!
We just did a photo shoot at a dance recital with a lot of little kids. Make sure you take a package of wipes and have them wipe the bottom of their feet (if there will be a lot of them). My wife had to edit dirt smudges out the first day, used wipes on bottoms of shoes and then there were no scuffs. Some of the kids got a little carried away and tested the curve at the back but the paper is thick and didn't break (yay!). Also, because it was thick it blocked sunlight coming through glass doors behind it. No problem. It worked great and was worth every penny. No washing of linen backdrops, no seams from folding linen backdrops. We will always use this from now on!

Beautiful, but still paper.
Great colors, a bit pricey though. If I didn't have a "no-shoes" policy every shoot, I'd only get 2-3 photoshoots out of one roll.

Quality Paper, but Hate the Tape
I'm a fan of Savage paper backdrops, having purchased about 5 different colors and sizes from them in the past. The paper quality is always good, thick enough to withstand accidental folds and creases, but thin enough to maneuver it into position and light enough to lift a 10 foot wide roll of paper onto a stand without assistance. My only gripe with this product is that the tape that they use to hold the paper in place during transport is really stuck on the paper. I wish that they used something that had less of a grip on the paper so that I wouldn't have to struggle to peel it off. Using a utility knife to cut the tape isn't an option, since it might cut through some of the paper. If they were to replace the tape with something similar to painters tape, it would have more than enough stick to keep it in place and you wouldn't have to tear away bits of paper when you remove it.For those of you who haven't used a 53" backdrop, you should be aware that you aren't going to fit more than a couple people side by side with their arms at their sides. Even when photographing a single person, you will find yourself at times having to modify poses so that you aren't running out of space on the sides. 53" backdrops are a great size for "belly-button up shots", but going wider than that may require cropping or other post production since you will see the edges of the paper.

Great for Indoor sessions.
Love this background paper! I have used it for SEVERAL different set ups. The color is wonderful the quality of the paper is sturdy and I will always continue to use this product.I have used it in several colors and I am able to use the same round multiple times before I have to trash it. Most of the time the paper gets trashed during a smash cake session and that means I am definitely able to get more use than I ever expected out of this. When I first started looking into using background paper I was nervous that I was going to go through it quickly but it really does last.I am careful to sweep it off at the end of each session prior to rolling it back up. If there are just slight wrinkles they don't normally show up or they are super easy to edit out of the final image. I just can not say enough positive things about this product.

Improved packing earns this 5 stars!!!
This background works perfectly. As most of the reviews state, the way it is poorly packed ruins a good 1 or 2 yards of the beginning of your roll, BUT you still have plenty left to work with. I definitely recommend standing it up when storing it, so it doesn't get oval shaped.Side note, I use this for shooting dance portraits and inevitably their little feet scuff it up and about halfway, sometimes sooner I have to rip off the dirty part and pull some more out.***UPDATE*** I have purchased this background 3 times (since it is paper and mine gets a lot of use, I need to replace every so often) This 3rd time the packing was in a long box instead of a tube and I prefer that as it seemed easier to repackage when I was done. Also, the tape only messes up a few inches now, and I'm sure I could be more careful and have none of it messed up. Anyways, great product and price!!!

Great Paper!
You can send this paper high key perfect white, all the way down to black. You can set color on it and it will make your gels rich and vibrant. I might have gotten a wider roll if I'd really been thinking about it, but the paper itself is thick, durable, and excellent for getting that seamless look with little hassle. For a versatile workhorse that can be many things, this is my go-to. Well worth the purchase.
