I was surprised after reading great reviews that this GPS didn’t work for us in California. I am sorry, but this GPS took us to residential area and straight to traffic area. My google app did better. It does contain a lot of great features but does defeat the purpose of what I bought it for to avoid the traffic and to take only truck routes. I do not recommend getting it if you live in California.

First off, the instruction book does not match the device illustration. When the device gives you directions before you get to the street which the device will say turn at, before I made it to the light it’s already giving you your next turn. It did not avoid the clearances I asked it to avoid certain clearances… it DID NOT. I was in down town New York what a freaking disaster, it took me around and around which made it difficult in a motorcoach. I had to call another driver to come get me.I must have been drunk when I purchased this device no way I would have ordered this off brand name commercial gps. Another thing, if you have one charging port you cannot plug up any of you other devices. I should NOT have to buy a dual charger! The mount has already stop sticking to my windshield, it fell several times I had to pull over those several times. Don’t no one have time for that. I’m going to buy me a $300 Garmin now I have to wait another 6 days for it to be delivered——-I need it for my new job!Don’t buy don’t buy don’t buy! Don’t buy! I might as well used Truckers Path which is unreliable as well.I did not and would not have chosen this model, come to find out the seller sent me that garbage. Not only that but some how he blocked my return stating that I ordered 2 but only sent back 1!!! Like I told and questioned Amazon to read my review….what am I gonna do with 2 pieces of garbage when I don’t like the 1. Like I said it’s garbage and no commercial driver should buy from this seller. They do bait and switch. Beware!!!I ended up buying from Best Buy on line, I wish I would have thought about them. 5 days later I’m still harassing Amazon for my return which they acknowledged seeing the return!To prove I was right Amazon offered me $10, NO l want my $100!!

The media could not be loaded.  So yes I am a real American who lives in Detroit Michigan!!!! I bought this as was recommended from my boss.. now in the past I've used the Garmin Dezl series and they work fine but cost 4 times what this costs!! I ordered mine on a Friday night and got it Saturday morning!!I've used several dash cams and GPS units in my 20 years on driving big truck. I'm here too hopefully squash some of the other reviews..1 YES IT TELLS YOU POSTED SPEED AND YOUR SPEED!!!2 IT SHOWS THE PROPER TIME AND PROPER ARRIVAL TIMES!!!3 I CAN'T HONESTLY COMMENT ON LONGEVITY AS IVE ONLY OWNED A WEEK!!!4 IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS, CALL A FRIEND, IT ABSOLUTELY WILL FOLLOW TRUCK ROUTES AND WARN YOU IF YOUR ROUTE REQUIRES YOU TOO ENTER A NON TRUCK ROAD AND YOU CAN ACCEPT OR REJECT IT!!!!5 THE VOLUME IS LOW EVEN ON THE HIGHEST SETTINGS..6 YOU CAN SET IT UP IN MILES FT AND INCHES ( AMERICAN STANDARD ) SO IT READS CORRECTLY..bottom line, this is very similar to the older PC Miler units from Ark Technologies back in 2010. I absolutely LOVE MINE so far and if it holds up over time there's really no reason to ever get anything else..Some of the review I read are UNBELIEVABLE!!! this is NOT a 500 dollar Rand or Garmin that's gonna do everything automatically!!! You have got to set it up the 1st time!!! Setup profile number 1 ( you get 7 spots ) as your big truck or rv and name it accordingly. When it asks you which profile your driving select the appropriate one and drive on!!Sorry for the long review, just thought maybe I could answer some of the questions I had.I'll update if anything changes.

Good price gps, bad side have to update maps one year , download and replace in directory but they have how to videos for it , and in some areas very inaccurate , or adress isn’t in database , it’s decent gps good enough to get to destination to make delivery on time

This device is a pretty good value, but loses its way, and will send a big rig down a rd it's not supposed to be on. It also doesn't keep up with accurate time zones. Quality needs improvimprovement...

you can use it for a car, or 18 wheeler , or anything in between. just program it for what your driving. as you drive it gives you all the information you could ask for, its all there. the graphics are big ,bold , and beautiful. the voice commands are clear easy to understand, you choose the voice that you like, it has so many options you can program this device to suit yourself, I drive a big truck for a company, they have very expensive GPS installed in our trucks, I took the XGODY X4 along to compare. it did great and got me to my destination each time . just like the expensive one did. this one is now in my car. it really does the job. great price. and Trucker Tested. get yours.

Return window closed August 30th. It worked great until Sept 16 when the screen would not come on. Tried repeatedly to turn on and off to try to make it work. You could hear 'clicks' when you touched the screen but the screen would not light up. My husband is a truck driver and he was excited when I got him this. He made sure to take care of it because he loved how big the screen was-left the plastic over the screen so it wouldn't get scratched, never left it in a hot vehicle, always put it in the bag that came with it, and never dropped it. He was super disappointed when it stopped working especially since he went the extra mile to take care of it! I have NEVER left a 1 star rating for an item that did not meet my expectations. I have been able to rationalize why it did not meet my expectations, but I have been unable to find any fault on our part on this item. This was a faulty GPS.

Bad not accurate waste of my money

Screen is big and very clear, but difficult to site in a car as it blocks view from windscreen. A bit confusing to programme and repetitive, but it did the job when we went to Wales towing our 28 foot caravan.

Real truckers gps very easy to use and more features than any I've ever seen. I am a professional driver and would recommend this gps to any truck driver

Took this unit to oregon and it was the best. super easy to use. routing was easy and for long trips you punch in stops on the way. Rest stops show up and gas and food show up on an icon on the side. Will show how many miles away they are. Very satisfied with this product. Love the large screen.
