Pravana Chromosilk Vivids Hair Color (3 Pack) (Vivid Violet)

I have included 3 pictures to show various stages of the dye and also to show how different lighting affects the way that the color looks. It is beautiful and vibrant, photos do not really do it justice. The last photo is this dye purchased from another seller and I felt that it looked a little more vibrant. But it also stained EVERYTHING, including my skin. I couldn't wash my hair at any stage without getting covered in purple-all over my tub, back, neck, hands, etc. It left purple all over my pillows and was awful. But from this seller, I did not have that issue AT ALL. I see a few comments mentioning having this issue, but I personally haven't and I bought 6 boxes and haven't had any problems with that, not even to my tub, which most dyes do. This brand of dye is the BEST semi permanent color that I've ever used because it lasts so long and has a blue undertone so that it doesn't fade into a weird pink purple. Another review mentioned that they were not sure that it was a blue base, but I discovered this last time that it definitely is. I waited a little too long to do my roots and parts of my bangs were fading into a pretty blue. (Don't usually have that happen) I wash my hair 1-2x a week (dry shampoo is your friend). I don't even use cold water, I use lukewarm and make sure to use sulfate free shampoo. I bet with cold water it would stay even more vibrant. I never have to use a color depositing mask like I have had to with other dyes. I don't even touch up my color, it lasts until it's time to bleach and dye my roots. Every once in awhile when I'm doing my roots, I'll put the color all over to refresh, but you can do that mixed with a little conditioner so that you don't use as much product. Just know that the more you put, you'll be lightening the color more. I do wish that this seller offered the XL bottles, but I'm happy that they even offer this one so that I can purchase this and have salon results at home. As much as I don't want to share how great this product is because I don't want it to start selling out everywhere, I highly recommend it. I will never use another color brand again. I hope that they never discontinue this color, it is my fave perfect purple. Will be purchasing from this seller again.

Look no more! This product is great! Over the years I have had bad experiences with dozens of overpriced products that washed out quickly and just didn't have the color I was looking for. This color is affordable, easy to use, no harsh odor and has stayed vibrant even after a month of being washed every other day. This purple was for my sons hair and looks so good my other 3 children and even my 70 yr old mother have decided to color their hair..

I love this color. I bleached my hair hoping to get rid of the adore dye; so much for that. Anywho, I went ahead and applied all three tubes of dye (I could have used one more tube) and I must say I really love this color. It has a pleasant smell and it didn’t seem to dry my hair out. Processed under a plastic bag for about 2 hours. I deep conditioned it before applying the color. Rinsed until the water ran clear. It doesn’t drip color like other brands. I will try and remember to update after a few weeks/washes. I would definitely recommend getting this brand.

i have been using this for about 5 years. The color lasts for about 6 weeks. As it fades, it turns a beautiful turquoise blue, mixed with the purple. So I keep the blue for an additional 2-3 weeks before I redo the color.

BEST PURPLE OUT THERE!!!

This is the brand of semi-permanent dye my stylist uses in my hair, so I’ve started having it on hand for color refreshes in between balayage touch ups. I love this purple, even though it trends a little cooler than I initially was aiming for - it’s a blue based violet and will shift to cooler bluer pastel purples as it fades. Goes in easy, washes out easy, and lasts - leaving it one hour gave me about 3 weeks of color, leaving it overnight got me 2 months! I have long hair, so I use about half to one whole tube per application, so this 3 pack is GREAT.

The media could not be loaded.  WOW! You're going to love this dye. If you have darker or dyed hair, you'll want to bleach first. That being said, this shade is incredibly forgiving. I bleached once from dyed black (I think we all know the not so lovely orange color that gives us, and how green ended up in mine I'll never know). Even with the weird mess my hair was after one bleach, this purple took amazingly in one application and looks super vibrant with a lot of luster and shine. Any other purple dye I've tried needs you to lighten to a near platinum to get results like this. I've waited about a month now to post this review to see how well the color would last, and even after all these washes it's barely faded, only my fresh roots showing. Doesn't stink either like some do, this dye oddly smells kindof like blueberries. Give this color a try, have some fun, you deserve it!
