Runs great, low noise, does the job, very well.
I purchased the 3000 Sq model back in March of 2021. I live in Florida and this dehumidifier has been running non-stop ever since. The humidity for most of the year is over 95%. This think has been keeping the humidity down around 40% to 45%. I run my A/C at 80 degrees, where I am comfortable. Due to the amount of water this dehumidifier pulls out of the air does require dumping the reservoir several times a day. In the rainy season, I have had to empty the tank at least three to four times a day, due to 100% humidity. The rest of the year is at least two times a day. I have read s9me of the reviews about this thing beeping when the tank is full at night, when people are sleeping. I solved that by emptying the tank before going to bed, then again when I get up, regardless if the tank is full or not. This makes the house much more comfortable with lower humidity. The other think is how it has held up, it has been running 24 hour a day, seven days a week for the past three years. That is almost 26,000 running hours without any issues, so far. As far as electrical use, it has had no effect on my electic bill. I think it is allowing my central A/C to run better because the A/C condenser is not getting all gummed up with very humid air going through it. Allowing it to run more efficiently. This could be off setting the cost to run the dehumidifier. As far as the sound, it is more lik3 white noise. My A/C makes more noise that this dehumidifier. I only here it when thexA/C turns off. I do know that I am able to run the A/C less because the less humid air feels cool. When we have 70 degree temperatures with 100% humidity, I was running the A/C to lower the humidity, not the temperature. Now the dehumidifier is doing that job. The only thing is, it does not have a pump to pump the water into sink or tub to drain. Even the larger model only empties the tank into a floor drain. It will not pump vertical for a few feet. If Midea made one that would/could pump the water a few feet vertically (not their cube model), I would buy it. Over all, I would buy this one again 1) because of how well it has held up 2) How well it does its job of removing the humidity.

Works Like a Champ. Heats Like a Small Star. Still Worth It.
This dehumidifier absolutely slaps — and I say that as someone who lives in a region where the humidity doesn’t just make you sweat, it mocks you while doing it. The Midea 22-pint unit is compact, efficient, and clearly has a personal vendetta against moisture. I run it daily in a mid-sized bedroom and it pulls water like it’s auditioning for a job in plumbing. You’ll empty the tank and immediately wonder how your walls haven’t grown gills. But let me issue a gentle PSA: This thing runs hot. Not “oh it’s a little warm near the vent” hot — I’m talking “am I roasting a Cornish hen under this?” levels of thermal output. If you’ve got a small room, especially one that’s already warm, just know you’re trading moisture for ambient heat. Plan your airflow accordingly or prepare to enter the Toasty Zone. Another tip: the built-in sensor does the job, but it’s very much a local reading. As in, “I’m doing great right here next to me” — even while the rest of the room still feels like a Florida swamp sauna. If you're serious about full-room monitoring, pair this with a secondary RH sensor placed farther away. You’ll get a much better picture of how your microclimate is really behaving. Still, even with those caveats? It’s absolutely excellent. ✅ Removes moisture quickly and efficiently ✅ Quiet enough not to disrupt your daily life ✅ Easy to clean, easy to move ✅ Doesn’t look like a haunted relic from a 2004 utility closet I’ve run this thing for weeks, and despite the space heater vibes, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. My windows no longer fog. My sheets no longer feel like they’ve been slow-cooked. My plants are confused, but I’m thriving. Highly recommended — just don’t put it next to your bed unless you enjoy waking up in a desert.

I bought this Midea 3000 sq ft dehumidifier because I had mold on my window frames and ice buildup on the windows during winter. I placed it in the washroom, and it works very well. It collected a full bucket of water in just three days. The noise level is acceptable and not too loud. I also like the timer feature. I usually set it to run for 2 hours after showering. After using it, the moisture problem is much better, the washroom feels comfortable, and there is no more ice on the window frames. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommended.

Arrived damaged but works great. Lowered the humidity in our house from 60% to 43% overnight. Got rid of the moisture on our windows. Quieter than I was expecting.

Bought this 35 pint dehumidifier to remove moisture from one of our bedroom windows. After a month of use, I have to say it does an excellent job of preventing condensation on the windows. Emptying the container of water accumulated is simple and easy. The unit is sleek and modern and the controls are very intuitive. It doesn't come with a remote but you can download an app to your tablet or phone. The app will do simple on/off functions and humidity levels but what I really like is that you can set up schedules for when you want the dehumidifier on and off. However, I have to knock off one star for the noise level. In the description, it says it's "refrigerator quiet". Don't know what refrigerator it's comparing it to but I can definitely notice the noise, especially if I'm trying to sleep in the bedroom. My workaround is to use the app and set-up schedules for when I'm not sleeping in the bedroom. Overall, still happy with my purchase because it collects a lot of moisture.

This summer here in Ottawa is been very humid so I decided it was time for a dehumidifier, I was torn between buying this model or the new cube model, but I'm happy with this one: - Beautiful design - Removing the bucket is easy, I'm emptying a full bucket of water every day - I had understood that this model didn't have access to the app, and that was almost a dealbreaker for me, but fortunately, I have access to the app. The only thing I have to point out is that the air around the dehumidifier gets drier than the air in the rest of the room, which makes its humidity reading about 5% lower from the reading on my humidity meter, which is far from the dehumidifier but in the same room. For example if I set it to 40% humidity, when the dehumidifier reaches 40%, my meter reads 45%. This was kind of disappointing for me at first but the important thing is to remove the humidity from the air, and that's what it's doing, so I am happy with my purchase. I'm taking off a star because I wish it had a quieter function for nighttime.
