Commercial Dehumidifier, 170 Pint Portable Industrial Basement Dehumidifier for Large Home Garage, Large Capacity Auto Defrost Auto Shut Off with Continuous Drain Hose

The media could not be loaded. I recently just bought a house but I was having a hard time going down to the basement and it gets molds easily because of its excessive moisture. So I was looking for a heavy-duty dehumidifier. I ended up buying this DOROSIN one because it claims to be commercial graded and able to do 170 Pint which is more than I needed. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was its unreasonable weight. This is HEAVY! (84lbs) but it manages to stay portable.(14.37 x 15.59 x 25.59). The setup is minimal because all I needed to do was plugging the cable and out the hose to my drain. Note that it comes with a built-in water tank if you don't have a drain nearby. I love to keep it on AUTO mode so it will only work when the moisture level is high. So far, it is keeping my basement dry like desert.

We got this dehumidifier because our basement is very humid. It always has been and when it gets like that, it starts to smell. We got this dehumidifier and that problem has been solved. It is a bit on the heavy side, so it takes some hefty lifting to get it up or down the stairs- in fact, two of us to do the job.It seems durable and I expect at this price, that it will last for many years. Once you set the percentage of humidity that you desire, in our case 50%, it will cycle on its own accordingly. We have it connected to a hose, which drains to the outside, so no worries there. I can also see how it would work well in a commercial setting too.We are highly satisfied with this dehumidifier and the fact that it will cover about 1200 square feet, makes it a huge plus.

This machine has been working extremely well in my basement. The area is usually very wet and mildew smelling. I initially turned the unit on to continuously on and the bucket was filling up very quickly. Several times a day I was having to empty the container. I chose to connect the hose to the water output that they provided(witch is extremely short, maybe 3’ at most) and I connected some rubber tubing into that hose and ran the line to my sump pump. Then I set the machine to 50% humidity. This machine will cycle on and off once it hits the desired humidity and drains right into my sump pump drain. I think some reviewers are confused about the 130 pint rating of this machine. The tank on this dehumidifier is definitely way smaller than that, but this machine can fill that tank several times a day. I highly recommend that you purchase some extra length if 5/8” OD tubing to run into a drain if available because it is definitely removing the 130 pints a day from my basement. This machine is very heavy duty and I expect it will last. Highly recommended.

The unit seems well built and sturdy. I like the simplified functions. The unit works well and maintains humidity levels in a very large space. All in all this dehumidifier works great. It maintains the correct humidity level. Pretty quiet too.

Great product. Had a really hard time finding a 240v unit in Canada. Dorosin is going the job great! Unit works just as describes.I had been shipped the unit with the wrong plug and Dorosin customer service was fantastic about it.All emails were answered within the hour. I felt like I received a great product and great support both before and after my purchase.Edit: Was charged taxes and duties at the door.

Efficient at a wide range of temperature, this unit easily out works 2x 70 pint regular residential dehumidifiers.EDIT: unit worked for 10 months now throwing Error E6 repeatedly. Company have not returned emails.
