Borbone 90 Capsules BLU Coffee Compatible Nescafè Dolce Gusto

Really impressed with the strength and flavour, they're great for my morning coffee. A tip for anyone having leaking issues, slow lower the lid until you here excess air release and then fully lower the pin into the pod. The problem is the top has a dome to it (a sign of gas from fresh grounds) and when you push the pin down quickly like normal it's tearing the hole too big and that's why occasionally it's leaking. They're definitely value for money.

This used to be the best espresso in the world. I've been a customer for years. Not sure why they have changed the capsules and the recipe. It's not what it used to be. What a shame.

Borbone coffee capsules are a real treat for coffee lovers. The flavour is rich, smooth, and authentically Italian — just like a proper café espresso. The aroma fills the kitchen every morning, and the crema on top is perfect. They work perfectly with my Nespresso machine, and the price is great for the quality you get. Definitely one of my favourite capsule brands — highly recommended!

The coffee is absolutely AMAZING!! Wow! The flavour is perfect & also the crema. The only problem with the box was that the capsules were all bursting from trapped air. I tried the one which was flat from the top but it leaked all over the machine. So I tried the bubbled up ones & they worked normally. I'm not sure how old the capsules are but the coffee is amazing so although the capsules seem to be improvised, I'm going to order again so that maybe they send me a fresher batch next time. This is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Warning: 1 tiny espresso got me going all day so the coffee must be strong. However, it didn't make me jittery, just enough energy to be in a good mood all day!!

Those are so much better than the dolce gusto pods. I like my coffee to taste like coffee and I like it strong and these red pods are perfect for me. They are smooth and not bitter at all and have a nice crema. Better still they have made improvements to the pods. There is no plastic packaging inside, the pods are loose, quick is great for the environment and less fiddly for me. They have also dispensed with those annoying fiddly foil tabs that you have to remember to remove before you use them. I was worried that they wouldn't stay fresh now but they have put a seal inside the pod that breaks on it's own when the coffee is dispensed. The new pods seem stronger and so far I have not had any defective ones that have caused any water leakages.

Great tasting coffee and at a very good price, it's a shame the company can't sort out the exploding messy pod situation and that being a good price to buy seriously is affected by the waste pods you don't get coffee from because it's full of coffee grounds. I will continue buying these because it's lovely coffee but also will continue throwing half of the pods in the bin because they are faulty. I would have rated it five stars for the coffee but it lost two stars for the poor pods and wastage.

The coffee taste is not that great, but thats not the worst part of it. The quality of the pod itself is horrible, more often than not eater leeks from the side or the same feeding hole of the needle. Its a mess however you look at it. Was worth the price? Maybe. But you can find better quality coffee for not that much more. And doesn’t taste like Borbone in Italy at all.

Schmeckt ganz gut, Kapseln kommen an und sind sehr „aufgebläht“, hatte erst etwas bedenken durch andere Produkterfahrungen, allerdings macht es nichts, stecke sie normal in die Maschine und sie laufen super durch ohne aufzuplatzen. Preis-Leistung unschlagbar

I wish it was zero star, the pods DO NOT work in Nescafe dolce gusto machine, it fits into the machine but then water leaks over the machine, waste of money, not happy with this company for saying it does work with this machine, clearly it does not

Edit: I've been cleaning up water leaks around my Dolce Gusto machine and finally discovered the cause. These pods. They simply don't work as advertised with even the new machines. They restrict water flow through the pods so that the water pressure was shooting out other parts of the machine. The coffee is good. Strong, aromatic, flavorful. But be warned that they don't work in all Dolce Gusto machines. I have a newest model machine at home and had no problems. At the office we have an older model and these capsules cause the machine to spray water sideways out of the seams of the capsule holder during brewing. I think these capsules are designed to restrict flow during brewing to make the coffee stronger. On newer machines it works well. On older machines it causes a mess. So only buy if you have a new model Dolce Gusto machine.
