WORXWG584 40V Cordless Leaf Blower, Electric Blower for Lawn Care wth Brushless Motor, 2 Batteries & Charger Included

This is my fourth Worx power-share tool, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Other Worx tools are a 14” mower for the tight spots I can’t get with the tractor, shorty chain saw, and string trimmer, all of which do exactly what I need them to do. I knew going in that this blower is limited as far as battery time goes, but all I need it for is clearing off my patio (about 36’x12’) and the garage floor. First job was to clean off the stuff that piled up against the house over the fall and winter, a lot of which was very wet underneath, and this little guy handled it just fine. Next job was cleaning off lawn mower debris, which was a piece of cake. This thing is perfect for what I need it for. It’s not going to clear off your back yard, unless you have a very small back yard. But it has plenty of power for smaller clean-ups.

I’ve had a Worx plugin blower for years. Love the brand and design and the weight, but with only two speed controls it was tough to have the right pressure at times. It was time to get a new one, so after trying a cheaper Amazon 20V special I decided on the brand I’ve been able to trust for 10 years. Happy to have it. Works perfect. Love the three speed control plus the Turbo button. Only gets heavy when you keep the turbo button pressed down for a long period of time. I tested the run time on High, and got 25 mins with OEM batteries and 20 mins with knockoffs. Great blower.

So far so good! Used it to "sweep" my garage - worked perfectly! Also, edged my driveway and about 100 meters of sidewalk, and I used it to clean up the mess left over on the driveway and sidewalk - perfect! Then, I cleaned up some old leaves in the nooks and crannies around the house - also good. We also have a plug-in works blower. I'd say this one has about half the power of that one. I'm not sure how it will do in the fall with large piles of leaves; I just don't think it has the power. But I think it will be a good companion to the plug-in one for those big leaf jobs. Still, four stars because this is so convenient, easy-to-use, and within the Worx ecosystem. It makes basic yard clean up so easy! Also, great for cleaning the trampoline! I didn't take a star away for the power though - it's a light-duty yard tool and is perfect at that. The 4 star rating is for the battery life. I used the big Worx battery and it sucked up the juice faster than I expected. This device would do better with a double battery setup like other Worx tools. Definitely recommend for all your light-duty yard cleaning purposes - but nothing that's more than 25-30 minutes.

Primarily used for the deck, after mowing/yard work, and the garage. It moves a good amount of air. Very lightweight and easy to handle.

Started assembly on the item about an hour after I received it and found the entire motor piece covered in mold and with webs on both intake and outtake ends (not sure if that'll show in the pics). The 2 pieces of the blow tube were fine, as was the charger and battery. I decided to return it, obviously, because who knows what electrical components could have been damaged by the damp conditions it was clearly stored in for who knows how long. I reordered, assuming this was a fluke, but when the second item arrived it too had mold, albeit to a lesser degree. I decided to risk wiping it down and using it to see if I even like the item. Thus far it is working fine and I do enjoy how light weight it is and that it is cordless compared to my last leaf blower. I just don't understand why someone would box up moldy merchandise, along with the other items being clean, because this definitely happened before either item went in the box. Also, fyi, look at the motor before you assemble the blow tube, because you cannot take the blow tube apart (at least I couldn't) once you lock the pieces together. If you need to return it, that makes the return more challenging.Update: After using the blower for a couple of months, I do like it and it's working fine (despite the mold), except that the charge on the battery does not last long. I get maybe 3 days use with just blowing leaves off my patio and driveway (2-10m/day) before I have to recharge. They should have made the battery larger. There is no way this is going to last trying to blow a thick layer of fall leaves from two large maples off my yard every week for several weeks. I will have to recharge multiple times in a day to complete the job.

I have just had this Worx’s leaf blower since the end of February and have not used it but a few times. I tried to blow off my patio, but it was the battery. I checked on Amazon and the batteries are very expensive and I am very unhappy with this Worx 40V TurbineLeaf Blower. RESUBMIT: I called.Worx's service department this morning and they are sending me a brand new battery at no charge. I am very happy about them replacing it and not having to buy a new battery. They stand behind their product!!
