very good case. fits perfectly. audio quality from the speaker is a bit quite but still clear. update: waterproofing works great. no water got in, completely dry. headphone extender it came with did not work, very static, but you can get ones that work well for very cheap. (you will need a headphone extender for any headphones that have more material around the jack and right angle cabled headphones, earbuds with a skinny connector will work fine without an extender)

I could be a living LifeProof commercial!! I am super clumsy and drop my phone all the time (I'll even admit that I sometimes drop/toss it on the counter in frustration occasionally). This case ROCKS!! True story: I was sitting in the passenger side of an SUV and when we pulled into the driveway, I had completely forgotten my phone in my lap. I stood up and it fell from my lap, face down onto the concrete, SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF PUDDLE. The case didn't even get a scratch, let alone let my phone take any damage. Also, the toddler I nanny has buried my phone in the mud and I was able to just rinse it off with a hose haha. I wholeheartedly recommend this case. There are some cons: it is very difficult to take off and I have noticed that some cases make it hard for you to hear and be heard during phone calls.

Trying 4.5 stars button are hard to push for home and power buttons when trying to do a screen shot so I went to settings, motions and gestures, palm swipe for my screen shots. No problem hearing at either end calls Clear Sound, Noise Reduction, Increase volume in pocket, and HDMI on Surround sound. I'm just upset the corner of the plastic broke while trying to remove cover so I could insert my new SD card. So I ordered and received my new one also I put on extra screen protector I had trouble with case not being flush with phone it looked like an oil slick when touching the screen. Works well in rain I don't have money to waste to see if it would work underwater though my son put a dry paper towel in it and closed the case to test it before he'd let me put my phone in it. I'm not going to try the drop test though phones are expensive. But my son told me everything you need is in your settings. The case is just added protection for daily use not for extreme use. Also phone charger doesn't fit all the way in the port. So I purchased S cover it doesn't fit in case. But I did also get the QI transmitter that goes inside original battery cover don't notice the bulge with the case on also got charging pad . Works well with case. I have StraightTalk Samsung S975L Galaxy S4.

Excellent case, excellent customer service, just as described on listing, beautiful color (in reality it's a few shades duller than the shown magenta, but still beautiful), one gripe- the rubber headphone plug will likely fall off like it did on my other SG4 Lifeproof case because it gets snagged on everything and does not stay in place very well. The old Lifeproof case i had for my iPhone 4 had a hard plastic screw in piece (much sturdier, and also came with an extra screw-on cover if the original went missing). So it may not remain waterproof for long. I wish they would go back to the original hard plastic headphone jack cover piece.

I bought this case for my mothers red Samsung Galaxy S4. I had previously bought a LifeProof FRE for my own Samsung Galaxy S3. This product is worth the money. My entire family is very outdoor oriented so having a phone case that could keep up with our life style is great. The case is lightweight and fits in my hand very well. The case snaps together firmly and all of the gaskets fit. It is water proof but I would recommend testing it before any major water activity. One draw back that I saw was on the GS4 the camera part of the case sticks out slightly so the case does not lay completely flat on a table, but this is not a big problem. My mother recently went out of the country and wanted a strong case to protect her phone. I recommended the LifeProof to her and she has loved it ever since. If you are looking for a lightweight and slim case I would recommend the LifeProof brand to anyone who not only hikes and works out doors a lot but to anyone who wants to make sure their phone is safe from virtually anything Life throws at them.

My boyfriend swears by Lifeproof cases because they're waterproof, so I got this at a great price for my probably outdated Galaxy S4. But I've had nothing but bad experiences with this case, so for the past week I've decided it's better without a case at all until I buy another Otterbox. 1) As soon as I put the phone in the case for the first time, the case was squeezing the phone so hard that it kept taking the phone out of hibernation by squeezing the buttons. So my phone kept turning on making me think I had notifications, but no, it was just the case squeezing the buttons. 2) A phone case is supposed to protect the phone, right? Well on day two I accidentally dropped the phone while it was securely locked in the case. The screen on my phone shattered while it was in the case! 3) The home button on the case periodically locks up so I can't even press the button on the case to use the phone. So I have to open the case & use the phone without the case. 4) I tried to plug my phone into a sound system while the phone was in the case, using the included headphone jack adapter, and it simply didn't work. So I had to remove the phone from the case to use it with the sound system. 5) Want to have a conversation on the phone? Forget it. The person on the other end won't be able to understand you, it sounds like you're underwater and muffled. So open the case, take the phone out of the case, and have a phone conversation without the case interfering.

It fits very well with my new phone. I do believe that it is waterproof as I have it out in the rain, and had it in the shower playing music. I am very confident that it is water resistant but I myself would not take the chance of submerging it in water. But I did try submerging the case without the phone and it performed quite well. It does come with a waterproof earphone jack that you can plug into your phone to which you can then plug in your earphone. But unfortunately for me, my earphone does not fit the waterproof jack. But I don't have to worry about that because I do have a pair of bluetooth earphones. You may also be worried about the audio quality of the speakers for your call, your music or the microphone. I am able to make clear conversations with the case on. It also responds well to the touch as long as it is dry. if your hands and screens are wet, there may be some insensitivity of the phone but still, the phone inside is dry. The case does give your phone a bigger volume but I guess that's the price you pay for having water tight seals around your phone, but it is still lightweight. w

This case is my favourite to bring along on vacations or outings to keep my phone safe! My favourite feature is it's versatility. You can have it on the beach, out on an adventure, as well as in or under the water without having to worry! You are able to still use the touch screen while the case is on, even while in water. Definitely one of my favourite cases !

To be honest I purchased this item for the slim line fit. I did carry out the waterproof test and mine worked and no water was found inside, however, I must be honest I would never put this item in water with my phone inside ... so cant say on that front if this actually works. I still love the case though and feel confident around general spills and answering in the rain. My phone feel security whilst still being slimline and responsive to touch.

Looks great and fits really well. A lot lighter than the Otterbox. One thing I don't like is when I hold the phone between my shoulder and ear, my cheek mutes the phone.
