Perfect for small cuts on hands
This is the best to use on paper cuts and hang nails and scrapes on hands because bandages don't stay on if you're washing your hands all day. I find it doesn't usually sting until the *second* time you apply it to a small cut, but I'm ok with it. Irritating little wounds heal faster and hurt less once they're coated with this.I also use it for scrapes elsewhere, mostly because I get annoyed with having bandages on. It's best for small wounds, obviously, but I find it helps me avoid scarring, which my skin is prone to. It's also more discreet than a bandage if it's somewhere visible, like the arms or face. It can still be seen but less obviously. It's a great addition to a travel or first aid kit because it doesn't take up much space and it's so useful. Plus, I always seem to hurt my hands carrying suitcases and such on a trip! I just wish there could be a plastic version because I'm always afraid I'll break the glass bottle on a trip. Hasn't happened yet, though. There's a different kind for kids from the same brand that doesn't sting but also doesn't stay on as long. If the sting really bothers you or younger ones, you can give that a try.

Works Great and Stays On
This liquid bandage really comes in handy for small cuts and scrapes. It’s easy to apply and dries pretty quickly, forming a nice protective layer that stays put even when you’re washing your hands or moving around a lot. It definitely saves you from dealing with regular bandages that can peel off or get dirty. The bottle is small, but a little goes a long way, so it lasts longer than you’d expect. It’s great to keep in your medicine cabinet or toss in a bag for emergencies. Overall, it’s a super convenient product that works exactly like it’s supposed to. Definitely something I’m glad to have around!

works great!
This is great for any scratches or open cuts that need to be sealed. I am a nurse and this works great to keep the foam cleanser from burning my cuts and abrasians.

I like it better than bandages.
It works very well, but it takes a bit longer than the name brand to dry. It does stay on until the bleeding stops 😊 and I haven’t had any skin issues. Bandages don’t stick well to my skin.

A must-have for cuts, scrapes, and even mosquito bites
New-Skin has become one of the most useful things I keep on hand. It seals small cuts and scrapes really well and keeps water and dirt out. The brush makes it easy to apply and it dries fast to create a clear protective layer. The real surprise was how well it works on mosquito bites. I read that blocking oxygen can help stop the itch, so I tried dabbing a little New-Skin on a bite. It worked. The itching went down almost right away and I did not keep scratching it open. It also helped it heal faster. This stuff stings a little when you first put it on, but that fades quickly. Now I keep a bottle in my medicine cabinet and another in my travel kit. It is one of those products you end up using more than you expect.

Great for Cuts in Awkward Places
This stuff has been a staple in my first-aid kit for years. Traditional bandages don’t always cut it—especially for cuts on fingers, knuckles, or anywhere that bends or gets wet often. That’s where New-Skin really shines. It stings a little when you first apply it (fair warning!), but it dries quickly and forms a solid, flexible seal over the wound that stays in place through handwashing, showers, and general daily wear. I’ve used it on everything from kitchen knife nicks to scrapes on my heel when breaking in new shoes.Pros:• Perfect for hard-to-bandage areas• Stays on even with water exposure• Compact and easy to carry• Way more discreet than a Band-Aid• Helps prevent reopening the cutCons:• The sting is real for a second or two• Small bottle, but a little goes a long wayIf you deal with frequent minor cuts or just hate how bandages peel off after a few hours, this is 100% worth having on hand. Just make sure the wound is clean before applying!

Dries out long before expiration date, at least in Colorado's dry air
It works fine before it dries out. But it dried out long before the expiration date on the bottle. And even though it is small enough to go in your carry on liquids bag for air travel in case you get a cut, they will explosives test it at Heathrow but not at any other airport.
