Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Hug 'N Giggle Baby

We got this for our 9 month old daughter to use with the Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Stroll-Along Walker. (It's the doll that fits that product and the stroller does not come with the doll, you have to order it separately.) In addition to wanting to give her a simple first doll, we're expecting our second child and thought the doll and stroller would be a good introduction to "new baby" talk in order to prepare our daughter for her sister's arrival. This is a good doll. She's not huge, but she's just right for a toddler to hold and cuddle. In addition, she makes about 3 sweet, cooing and giggling sounds when you push her tummy. The noises aren't annoying to us, and they are nice and soft. In fact, they are what initially drew our daughter to the doll in the first place. The only reason I don't give the doll 5 stars is that the body of the doll is very squat, and sort of star-shaped. I had hoped that we could put a small diaper or blanket around her easily as part of our daughter's introduction to a baby sister coming, but the doll's body shape makes that sort of thing nearly impossible. It's hard to keep such things on her. If you could, I'd give her 5 stars easily.

My youngest daughter LOVES this doll. She takes it everywhere and sleeps with it every night, which is why we ordered a backup. The doll is soft and makes sweet little cooing sounds when you press her belly. The electronic parts come out easily through a velcro pocket on her back and then you can throw the doll in the washing machine. She comes out good as new! Ours have been through many cycles and still look terrific. It's nice to be able to wash her after snuggles with my daughter, especially during cold season or after yogurt breakfast.My daughter is only 18 months, and has been loving this doll since around 9 months. She pushes her around in a toy stroller or just snuggles with her. It's definitely for babies, and might be outgrown sooner than later, but I think it will remain a favorite night time snuggle friend for bed for a while longer.

I bought this doll for my daughter's first birthday. I had looked around for the best first doll-- one that was not too big or too small, soft, but held its shape, and something cute and engaging. This one seemed to fit the bill, and when it arrived, I was very happy because my daughter instantly liked it.It's just the right size and very cute. I love the noises that it makes when you give it a little squeeze; very cute and just the right volume...and not annoying, which I'm very happy about! One of my favorite things about this doll is that you can take the noisemaker out of it and throw it in the washing machine if it gets dirty. My daughter likes this doll very much and likes to hug and kiss it, and has learned to point out body parts (eyes, nose, head, hands, mouth, feet, etc.) on it. It seems that as she gets a little older, the more she likes it. At first, she just enjoyed the sounds, then, she learned to hug and kiss the doll. Now, she's pointing out and labeling body parts and pretending to put the doll to sleep.Very happy with my purchase!

Bought this for my 11-month-old granddaughter at Christmas. She had several stuffed animals, but no dolls, and her mom kind of gave me a look when I told her I was buying the baby a doll. But Grandma knows what she's doing. Baby girl grabbed the doll immediately and hugged it to her and she rarely goes anywhere without it now. Even grabs it when her mom picks her up to nurse--baby doll must go, too. The giggle is so adorable, you can't help but smile when you hear it. And the doll so soft and squeezable, that even though the voice box in the little hiney is palpable, tiny little arms can carry this doll around anywhere. After Christmas, my daughter asked if I would buy another doll just in case something happened to the old one.Of course, I did.

I got this for my nearly 2 year old daughter for the Holidays. I had recently noticed that whenever we went places she would pick up baby dolls to play with and she would use other non-baby doll toys to play "mama". I am so happy with this doll. She lights up every time she hugs her baby and the baby giggles. My daughter will often then hand me the doll and ask me to hug her. We then both laugh after the baby giggles. I also like that for her naps I can easily open the back and turn the sound box off so she can snuggle away and not wake herself up. I haven't had to wash her (yet) but am thrilled to have that open. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I find all dolls a little creepy.

My 1yr old has had this for about 5mos, she loves it! She hugs it all the time so she can make the baby laugh. I think it is great that it is interactive and she was able to make it laugh by herself at such a young age-great for teaching cause and effect. It is also a great size for her to be able to walk/crawl/ride around with, she can't go in her carseat without her baby sitting in her lap. Personally I wish it was a bit "cuter" and available in other colors(hair/eye/skin) but that is not as important as the functionality.

I was looking for a baby doll as a Christmas gift for my 9 month old niece and after researching many different kinds, I came across this one. I examined it as soon as I received it and it is very cute and the giggle that the baby makes is adorable. My 12 month old daughter saw it in the box and wanted to play with it. Had my daughter not already received other baby dolls for Christmas, I would have purchased this one for her as well. I love that the doll is soft and could be one that your child sleeps with. I recommend this and will consider purchasing it again for my other niece!

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas to go along with the Fisher Price stroller. This baby doll is a great first doll. She is soft and cuddly. When you press on her tummy she giggles and says a few phrases and even will play a short song occasionally.My granddaughter is 9 months old and she likes to make the "baby" giggle. She's not quite old enough to figure out to put her in the stroller herself yet, but I see that in the future she will have it all down and will get many hours of play from her and the stroller.Doll is well made and to me seems safe for the little ones.

Diese Puppe hat meine Tochter mit 7 Monaten zu Weihnachten bekommen und gibt diese auch nicht mehr aus der Hand.Da sie den ganzen Tag umhergeschleppt wird, muss sie auch in die Maschine, daher haben wir noch eine 2. Puppe gekauft zum wechseln. Und.... es fällt nicht auf. Sofern "Lotta Nr.1" in die Wäsche muss... kommt "Lotta Nr. 2" an die Reihe. Es funktioniert und wenn die Puppe mal in der Kita vergessen wird, hab ich immer einen Ersatz. Natürlich weiss "Madam" nicht, dass wir eine 2. haben. :-)Das sind unsere Gründe, warum wir sie wirklich empfehlen können.1. Sie ist waschbar und kann in den Trockner2. Sie ist super weich und kuschelig3. Sie macht Geräusche, wie lachen, gurgeln... total süss4. Geräuschfach, kann man auch entfernen, uns stört es nicht und der kleinen beim schlafen auch nicht.Wir würden sie immer wieder kaufen. Die ist einfach der Renner.

Trotz der längeren Lieferzeit und des höheren Preises sind meine mittlerweile 13 Monate alten Zwillinge total begeistert von dieser niedlichen Puppe und ihren Geräuschen. Mit ihr wird viel und gerne geschmust. Die Kinder brauchten ca. ein bis zwei Tage um ihre Skepsis abzulegen. Puppe hat prima Maße für die Kleinsten.

Bellissima bambola, la mia figlia la adora, dorme con kei... e visto che facciamo viaggio, casa-nido, me la sono dovuta acquistare due bambole 😅Consiglio!
