Singing a favored song just got better. I love this good night lullaby for any young child settling down for a good nights sleep. The artistry is as lovely as the words. Your little reader will enjoy the many details hiding on each page. I have loved this book for decades and recently introduced it to another young family and it quickly became part of their sleep time routine.

Someone gifted this to my family when my little brother was born. The author rewrote the traditional song because she didn’t like that it involved “buying everything” for your children. These are things you can do with or for your child. I buy it for every new mom I know. It’s my absolutely favorite.

We LOVE this version of hush little baby so much more than the original. It’s such a lovely song, all three of my big kids like it and we sing to baby in my belly almost every night. I buy it for friends and family having a baby since we love it so much!

First off, this book is fantastic. The three stars are simply because when it arrived we realized the board version is pretty much a shrunken version of the big book we know and love.

My husband and I loved reading/singing this book to our babies. Now our kids a 7 and 10-year-olds still adore the book. It is my go-to baby shower gift because it brought so much joy to us.It really captures the beauty and joy of parenthood.Thank you Sylvia!

Much more appropriate for today’s world. No need to keep buying things for children who don’t have a need for them.

I have never been more in love with a book in my entire life!My mom used to sing me the original hush little baby, but when I had my daughter, I hated the idea of singing about buying her things. This is such an incredible rendition and I get to carry on my moms tradition and tell stories to my daughter about my mom who recently passed.I love this book SO much. I cried the first time I read it.

This is an excellent alternative to the words for the Mocking Bird song. The illustrations are super.

Lovely wording - different from the original
