Excellent for waterproofing

We use this for wrapping antenna connections and it is water tight. We recently had to change an antenna and cut the old tape off. The connector was dry as a bone. This is the stuff you need. Stretches tight. Takes a little finesse to get it from creasing over itself and unrolling the plastic at the same time but is excellent. I bought a bunch of these. You will never go back to electrical tape again!

I wound up making a more permanent repair , so I didn’t use this product. This product was exactly as described, appeared solid and fully functional . I opted to do the full repair as a matter of preference. I have no doubt that this product would have done a great job and would have held up nicely. I would recommend this product!

Follow the directions to a T and you won't be disappointed. They call it tape but it doesn't actually have any adhesive. When stretched as it overlaps itself if bonds to itself with a very strong water right seal. I had a 2ft section of PVC that had froze and split from one joint to the other. I used this to do a quick temporary fix but after seeing how well it works I've decided to just leave it as is until it proves me wrong and I have to do something different. The pipe has been under pressure, holding 32 gallons of water back without so much as a drop ever appearing anywhere. So now, I keep 2 rolls in my tool box at all times. Would obviously buy again and highly recommend. Give it a try, you will be surprised at just how much this tape can really fix. I never would of believed it myself. It's good stuff.

It sticks to itself and molds together as advertised. Wrapped tight it held water pressure on a swampcooler water feed line for 4 weeks now. Plus it worked very well on a coax connection at keeping moisture out.

This tape has no adhesive. It relies on flexibility and its tendency to stick to itself to stay in place. That limits its applications — and the applications it *does* have all seem to be covered by adhesive tapes: duct tape, electrical tape, etc. I suppose there must be an application where you need tape that can stick without adhesive. This roll of tape will stay in my drawer until I stumble upon on.

This tape is absolutely insane! It’s not sticky but when you stretch and wrap it tight it like fuses together and seals much better than electrical tape! To make the end stick you need to pull it extra tight and push/hold it onto the part you already wrapped and it’ll fuse together. So far nothing I wrapped has come apart, can’t say the same for things I wrapped with electrical tape!

I used it to seal outdoor plumbing from a shark bite joint of hose faucet to copper plumbing, to keep it from spinning around. It was easy to apply as instructed and has not shown any signs of loosening or coming off since I applied it a few months ago.
